Chapter 3

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. I checked my phone and it was a random phone number. I declined it and checked the time. 1:12 am. Why am I getting a call from a random person this late? I shut my phone off and I layed back down. My phone buzzed and I groaned. I checked my phone and it was a text message from the same number.

Unknown: Hey. Please pick up.

I looked at the text message and didn't want to answer. My phone started to ring again. I was wondering if I should answer it or decline it. I had no idea who it is. I answered and I quietly questioned.

"Hello?"

"Hey. Remember me?" I then heard Ademir's voice come through. I smiled as I heard his voice. I loved the sound of Ademir's soothing voice. 

"What do you want? You woke me up." I say as I groaned. I was so tired I was falling back asleep.

"Go get changed."

"Why?"

"Just go get changed alright? Make sure you have your camera with you." 

"Wait? Why? I'm ti-" Ademir hung up. I looked at my phone and groaned. Yes I do like him and I liked how he called me, but in the middle of the night?  I'm so tired. I guess I have to go get changed. I slowly got up and went to find clothes. As I found an outfit I went to my bathroom to get changed. I brushed my hair and teeth then made sure to put some make up on. I looked in the mirror and made sure I looked fine. Leaving to go somewhere at 1 in the morning was something I've never experienced before.  I went back to my room to get my camera and phone. I had a text message from Ademir.

Ademir: When you're done getting ready go to Seaside.

Why was he wanting me to go to Seaside at 1 in the morning? I grabbed my keys and started heading out.

I arrived at Seaside and I had no idea where to go. I pulled my phone out and called Ademir. No answer. I stood by my car waiting deciding if I should go back home. Just before I went in my car I saw a car drove up right beside me. Seconds later the passenger window rolled down and I saw Ademir.

"Hop in." He said. I couldn't help but I had to smile. I realized about my car.

"What about my car?" I asked as I looked at my car.

"We'll come back for it later. Just come on." He smiled. Should I really hop in? I guess I will because I really trust Ademir. I went to open the car door and I sat down. Mikey was in the driver's seat and Jake was sitting down in the back with me. We then drove off to who knows where.

I was woken up by Jake and he totally ruined my perfect dream. I opened my eyes and I looked outside and we were surrounded by trees. 

"Where are we?" I asked as I rubbed my eyes. 

"Have you ever been to Clinton Road?" Mikey asked. Clinton Road didn't sound familiar to me. 

"What's that?" I asked as I looked out the window. This place looked hella creepy. 

"Wait, you never heard of Clinton Road?" Jake asked. 

"Nope." I shook my head and looked at the three guys.

"Did you know that there is a haunted road?" 

"I think? I don't know?" I said.

"How do you not know? I thought you explore!" Jake said.

"I explore not research."

"Well how could you explore if you don't research?"

"I just like to make guesses when I explore a place."
