Chapter 5

I woke up as I heard my phone buzz. I checked the time first before I looked at my notifications. 9:23 AM. I looked at my notifications and seen text messages.

Mikey: Hey Chloe. Remember me?

Mikey: Guess not. 

Chloe: Yeah I remember you. I apologize. I was asleep. What's up?

Mikey: Nah it's fine but I wanted to know if you wanna drive around with me? I mean I could pick you up and we could hang out if that's what you want.

Chloe: Okay, that's fine with me.

Mikey: Okay sweet. What's your address?

I texted him my address then I got up and I grabbed a pair of clothes. I walked in my bathroom and took a shower and did what I needed to do. As I finished getting dressed I came back out to my room. I grabbed my phone and headed downstairs. I decided to watch TV as I wait for Mikey. I heard someone knock on the door an hour later and I got up to check who it was. I walked over to the door and opened it up. I saw Mikey and I smiled.

"Hey Mikey." I said smiling.

"Hey, you ready?"

"Yeah. Let me get my bag real quick." I said as I walked over to my couch to grab my handbag. I shut the TV off and walked back to the door and closed it behind me as I left. I locked the door and walked down the steps of my porch and walked to the passenger side of the car door. 

"Do you mind if we drive back to my place real quick?" Mikey asked as he starts the car.

"No." I said.

We arrived at his apartment and he opened his front door. He let me in and he went to his room. I stood in the living room as I look around. I seen another guy come out and it must've been his brother. His brother looked at me an I waved.

"Hey. I'm Chloe. I don't think we got to meet." I held my hand out for him. He looked at me and he walked away. Awkward. Mikey then walked back over to me with his camera in his hand.

"Alright. Ready to go?" Mikey asked.

"Yeah. I don't think your brother likes me." I say as we walked out of his apartment.

"Don't worry about him. He's just a bitch." Mikey and I laughed.

We arrived at SeaSide and we walked.

"Ademir and Jake should be here soon." Mikey said as we sat down at a bench.

"Is that them?" I asked as I point to my right and I seen them walking over to us.

"Hey guys!" Jake said.

"Hi Chloe. I missed you." Ademir said as he hugs me. There was another guy right beside Ademir.

"Who's that?" I asked as I looked over at him.

"Oh, that's Filippo. But you can call him Jesus if you want to." I held my hand out and we shook hands.

"It's nice to meet you Filippo." I said.

"You too." He said.

"So Chloe." Ademir said as we start to walk. I looked up at him. "Have you ever dated anyone?" I looked down and I actually never dated anyone. I looked back up at him.

"Actually. I haven't." I say as I move a strand of my hair that fell over my face. He looked at me surprised.

"What do you mean? You're beautiful! How could you not have at least one boyfriend?" He's right. How could I not have at least one boyfriend?
