Friday was pretty awkward. I went into science and a few of Don's friends eye-balled me. Was that a symbol for another fight? I'm not even trying to be violent. I actually started feeling a strang peace within myself. Once I finally put all that stuff to rest, I've been focusing on change. I still have a few of my ways but I feel different. At lunch, we had chicken nuggets and Mark and I talked about the usual. "I'm glad it's the weekend." He said. "Yeah, I'm tired of all of this homework." "Can I come over this weekend and spend the night?" Some people heard Mark and looked at us funny. I said with the uttermost confidence, "Yes, yes you can and we will do all types of awkward and fun things." The look on their faces were priceless. "It's been a while since I spent the night anywhere.....the last time I did, it was with my old friend, Larry." "Were you two close?" "Yeah........." He was quiet about it. "Oh......." "But don't worry, you're up there." "Thanks. Oh, will your parents say yes to you spending the night?" "Yeah." "Okay...Hahaha it was funny what they said when we came there all beat up." "Yeah and how shocked they were about the teacher.." Mark stopped talking and said, "Hey do you wanna go walking?" "Will we have enough time?" "It's 1:05...we have 25 minutes." "Ok, sure." We got up and threw our trash away and went out the front door. We walked around the whole school. "I guess I can accept this walk. I need to lose weight anyway." Mark looked at me with disapproval. "You are not fat, Alex. You look like a.......um coke bottle." "Yeah, a 3 liter...." Mark laughed.  "See! I am fat...you're laughing.." "Nah, I'm fat." "Oh please Mark, save me the lip." The bell eventually rung and we went inside.
