Okay, so there was this theory in Tumblr that most of the changes Snape did in his textbook were stuff he overheard James tell Sirius.
and, quite frankly, I hATE IT.
listen, Snape may have been awful, and God knows how much I hate him, but if there is anything I could appreciate about Snape, it's that he was very intelligent.
I'm not saying James wasn't, he was very intelligent and maybe he also knew some of the hacks Snape had written down and used them, his dad is a potioneer, it's possible. But, Snape figured those out himself. Stop dismissing his intelligence just bc you hate him. I hate him too, but I will also be the first to admit that he was very smart.
I mean, Voldemort was the literal worst but he was also smart (in most cases at least)?
