Victor's PoV

1 month later

Kellin and I immediately found each other laying in the bed after a long day yesterday. I stroked his hair as he slowly drifted off on my lap, the thoughts of our future swam through my mind. (A/N: Why was I seriously tempted to write a sex scene for this?)

"I can't believe we've graduated," Kellin mumbled into my shirt.

Kellin was a few points away from being validicktarian or something like that while I was a few points above from being held back. Apparently, you had to do this homework in order to get good grades...

Yesterday, there was this 3-hour long ceremony for us seniors just so we could get a roll of paper. Kellin was a bit bummed out to not have the role of validickarian and he's been moping ever since he found out. But there's nothing a few kisses and hickeys can't fix, according to Kellin, but those hickeys and kisses led to our clothes on the ground and a blissful mess on my sheets.

When Kellin came back to my place with me, my parents and Mike had greeted him with forgiving pats and meaningful compliments. Kellin had got more sympathy from mama and papa when he explained what had actually happened for us to break up; saying that even though what he did was completely cowardly, he had the right heart and mindset to protect me, Mikey, and our friends. Mama said it was a shame that Johnny had put my dearest through hell because if he didn't, he'd be welcomed to the house at any time...Kellin and I had to respectfully disagree with that notion, which was surprising for me since I would usually agree with mama. But Kellin has adjusted very nicely to my room, the house, and our ways. He liked the food that Balimda serves, occasionally would perform seances, and every Friday night he would sleep outside next to the gravestone that read 'Here lies the resting place of Victor Fuentes Jr. Mournful son and brother' and at the bottom written in red sharpie with curly letters said 'and boyfriend' due to Kellin who wanted to add something to it. Kellin didn't want to bury himself in the ground like I do, but he said that he would at least sleep outside and I really appreciated that.

Life is great with Kellin, I honestly wouldn't have it anyway.

My thoughts were interrupted by a knock at my door and it creaking open slowly. Both Mama and Papa popped their heads in, maliciously cooing at the sight before them.

"Oh Victor," Papa told proudly, "We have a surprise for the two of you."

"Really?" I asked as I continued running my fingers through the boy's hair, "Did you hear that Cara Mia?"

I leaned down to gaze at my darling's face only to see that it was peacefully resting. I softly chuckled at the perfect boy then placed a soft kiss on his hair.

"Oh, I'm sure going to miss you two," Mama cried, "I can't believe the time has finally come to where my niñito is leaving the crow's nest."

I wanted to roll my eyes at the nickname that mama gave me, but I was more concerned about how she was going to miss us. Before I could ask anything, Papa went over to grab Kellin's mysteriously packed suitcases and Mama ushered me to follow.
