Roses are red,
Violets aren't blue,
Girls are human beings,
And aren't just things to screw.
They are not a bunch of fools,
And they're not effin' tools.
So step up your game
And become a man,
Treat your woman with respect,
Before someone else can.

Explanations I guess?
This is sort of the beginning of a slam poem I'm writing for school. I don't think I'll go with this idea though (I have three different topics for my poem and until Christmas to write it). So even if it isn't much and it's sloppy, it's supposed to defend women's right to be respected as human beings. There are some contradictions in what I want to say and all but this was the first thing that I thought of and I haven't changed it. (For eg the "your woman" I'm not 100% ok with it bcuz women don't belong to anyone and such but I'm too lazy to think of sth else)
