(Although the day of the dead doesn't start until the 31st of October it was requested)
Y/N woken up from a crash and the sound of glass breaking. She jumped out of bed alarmed ready to fight someone. She grabbed her escoba that she kept by he bed side. Cautiously, she walked out and walked towards where she heard the nose from. When she walked into the kitchen she saw her boyfriend Namjoon standing there. There was a shattered plate on the floor.
"Namjoon otra vez?!" Y/n walked towards him. "Ceda te. Stay put, I don't want you to hurt yourself again." She sighed and namjoon just looked at her feeling guilty. "I'm sorry." Was all he could say. Y/n picked up the bigger glass pieces and then swept the rest. After she was done namjoon was able to move.
He walked over to her and gave her a peck on the lips. "Grashias, mi amor." She smiled at him. Unable to control herself at how cute he is she squished his cheeks. "Namjoon why are you so cute? Ugh I can't handle you." He simply smiled and hugged her. "Oh yeah, I have a question." Y/n hummed in response.
"Are we going trick-or-treating today?" She looked at him. "Uhh, what is this. I only celebrate the day of the dead. It lasts longer than Halloween." She gave him a puzzled look. He returned the look back. "The Day of the Dead?" Y/n gasped dramatically. She put the back of her hand on her forehead and pretended to faint. "Ay Dios mío. How can you not know what the day of the dead is."
Namjoon was unfazed, he walked over to the living room and sat down. "Explain." He said. Y/n stood up and walked over to him. "Okay, now pay attention. Basically the Day of the Dead, also known as 'Día de los Muertos', is..." Y/n had spent an hour of explaining what the day of the dead is to namjoon.
She gasped for air, acting as if she hadn't inhaled enough oxygen. Drained she flopped onto the sofa. "That's so cool! I want to celebrate it!" Y/n smiled evilly at namjoon. "Okay, but don't say I didn't warn you." She quietly mumbled. "What was that?" "Nothing!" Namjoon looked at her suspiciously. "Okay let's get ready we are heading out!"
~2 hours later~
Both Y/n and namjoon had their faces painted as skulls. "Wow~ this is so cool!" She smiled seeing namjoon so excited. "Now time to ride horses!" She exclaimed excitedly while namjoon had a pale face. She dragged him through the crowd of people who were also here to celebrate Día de lose muertos.
"W-what do you mean ride a horse." Namjoon turned silent as he saw men and women, dressed in the day of the dead attiretheir faces also painted to look like skulls, ride horses. "Cálmate, no seas así." Was all Y/n said before dragging him along again. The both of them reached the horses and Y/n immediately hopped on as if nothing. On the other hand namjoon just stood there frozen as he watched her. "Ándale, hop on."
A man had to assist namjoon to get on the back of the horse. As soon as he sat down he wrapped his arms around Y/n's torso. They rode the horse around for half and hour and then got off. "That wasn't so bad." Namjoon said. "Exactly, I don't know why you were scared in the first place." Y/n responded.
The rest of the night consisted of them doing fun activities that they had and of course ate lost of delicious traditional Mexican dishes.
