Chapter 8- The Meetup

One summer morning the day began with the mellow sound of raindrops beating on the rooftops. It was raining delicately. She lazily got up and glanced at the window as droplets of rain raced each other.

"Another day of school huh?" she sighed.

She got ready for school looking more depressed than usual. She blandly patted her dog "noodles" and left for school with Annie (her best friend).

"Are you okay?" Annie asked uptight.

Sabrina determined to tell Annie what really happened between Alex and her.

After knowing the entire situation, she remarked "I knew something was different about that guy!" After they chattered on, Sabrina went to her locker and placed all her books. Suddenly some crazy kids started running like maniacs and one of them bumped into her.

Sabrina's P.O.V

Unexpectedly, I felt two soft gentle hands gripping me on my waist. By the next millisecond I turned too see who it was and my eyes met with his hazel brown eyes that were locked in mines.His handsome features glowed with pleasure. His messy brown hair fell to his eyebrows elegantly and don't get me started on his lips. He had luscious, soft pink lips.

"Are you okay?" he asked with a smirk on his face.

I stummered as nothing came out my mouth, his low beautiful voice took my breath away.(literally)

He said slightly smiling, "Next time be careful," he continued "see you around!" he went proceeding down the hallways.

"Oh my god, he is so hot!" she thought to herself.

"Who is he?" she inquired. 

Sabrina had no idea it was Alex because of his new haircut and manly looks, made him look different. His appearance changed completely. They didn't recognize each other at all. Throughout the lofty day she couldn't focus on anything else but think about that gorgeous stranger she bounced into earlier. The bell rang for the last period and they had Mr.Dinklebottom (the teacher who puts the class to sleep) he is the most boring teacher in the school. Meanwhile he was handing out reports, students were busy flying paper around the class. 

~30 minutes later~

The bell rang shrilly and she hurriedly ran through the door joining the herds of children. She brisk fully walked down the pavement until she saw the hero her but at the same time, her mom had reached to pick her up. She got into the car,buckled up and rolled down the window midway. She passed him and saw him kissing a girl and quickly turned away. "What a douche bag!" she uttered to herself.

By the time she got home, she slipped into her Guns N' Roses t-shirt and a sweat pants. She decided to take noodles for a walk at the park. She found a shady seat under a cherry blossom tree, also she sat down and scrambled into her pockets for her ipod. She shuffled her playlist to Iron Maiden-The Trooper as she lip-synced to the words of the song.

It was already nightfall and she murmured to herself, "Mom is gonna kill me!" She entirely forgot about noodles because she left him loose. She fearfully went looking for him. There was no sign of noodles, so she began shouting out his name hoping he'll come to her.

Then she heard a deep but familiar voice behind her say "Is this your dog?"  she startled and said panicky, "Take my ipod, give me the dog!" She slowly opened her eyes and saw the douche bag from today who she thought were prince charming.

She enquired "Yeah it's my dog!" and he gave noodles back to her.

Soon after she said grinning, "Thanks for saving me today!"

"Well you were about to fall, I had to save you!" he said returning a smile.

At that moment they were interrupted by a phone-call, his ring-tone played Back in black-AC/DC, he quickly answered saying "Hello!" in a chunky tone. Suddenly his face expression changed and he shouted into the phone.

"It's you, what do you want?" he said abruptly.

She heard a voice on the other side saying, "I'm sorry for what i did today!" he bitterly hung up the phone.

He looked up at her and said "Sorry about that,mind if I walk you home?" She chuckled, "Sure!" Momentarily he commenced "By the way,I'm Alex,Alex Winters!" he poured his hand out for a shake-hand. The first thought that attain to her mind was "Alex from twitter,NO it can't be!" She immediately erased the thought from her mind and happily shook his hand saying, "I'm Sabrina!" a smile playfully crept to her lips.
