Chapter 9- Along the sidewalk

Alex thought to himself, "Sabrina from twitter,no she lives in Boston!" they continued to walk out the park as they exchanged a conversation. Then out of no where noodles playfully jumped on Alex and began licking his face. Soon after he fell off balance and clashed into the ground while noodles was still licking him.

Sabrina said, "I'm sorry for that Alex!" with small frown across her face.

"It's fine, I like him!" he replied smiling.

For a instant he glimpsed at the time and uttered softly "Oh boy,mom is gonna kill me!"

She giggled at him and said, "Mines too,we should get going!"

They gracefully walked down the street of 25th Avenue, as the atmosphere was filled with awkward silence until he broke it asking "how old are you?"

She replied "I'm sixteen you?" and he inquired, "I'm seventeen!"

The awkward silence appeared again.

At that point she stopped but he didn't notice, so he continued to walk. Thereupon she yelled out saying, "If you're gonna walk further, you might as well be hit by a car!" he chuckled and replied, "Sorry I didn't see you stop!"

She remarked," Well this is my house and I should go before my mom gets out her and starts questioning me like the F.B.I" He giggled and said, "See yah around Sabrina!"

They waved at each other before departing. 

Alex's P.O.V

I walked home and shot like arrows to the door as I saw my mom in the kitchen doing who knows what. I patted her on the shoulder and said,"I'll be in my room."

I jumped on my bed face down on the pillow and just reflected the day a bit. Firstly I thought about Sabrina the girl with midnight black hair and brown eyes that carries you into temptation. She was absolute gorgeous.

Subsequently I heard my room door creek open and I saw Arianna "my little sister" (She's seven and has curly hair like my mom's and a Cheshire smile due to my dad) Arianna jumped onto my bed and stood on my back giggling.

"If you want me to read you bedtime stories,try not to kill me!" I remarked as she laughed and replied, "I won't!"

Again she asked, "Why didn't you carry me to the park?" and I commenced," Weren't you sleeping?" She snickered and said,"Yeah i was, so how was the park?"

I replied smiling mischievously, "It was fun, I met this girl."  

Arianna asked looking frantic, "What's her name?" I said, "Sabrina!" and somehow I couldn't stop the big grin on my face. While on the other side Arianna ran out the room and shouted, "I'm gonna tell mom!"

I grabbed her and flew her up in the air and playfully tickled her tummy as she screamed ecstasy. "I'll buy you anything you want if you don't tell mom or dad." giving her the puppy eyes.

I eventually got her to agree with me as I cozily cuddled her like a bear. Afterwards, I took her to her room and laid her in bed as I read the her a goodnight story entitled "The Troll under the bridge" After about fifteen minutes, she fell deeply asleep so I covered her up and gently kissed her forehead.

Meanwhile my mom stood by the door watching me as I did so.
