Chapter 15
Alex's P.O.V
(that afternoon)
I strolled across the pavement and headed straight home. I was still in my soaking wet clothes and it was 10:45.
Crap.
I stripped off my clothes and jumped onto bed. AlI I could think about was Sabrina and that beautiful smile of hers. Her lips was the color of a red rose and when she smiled or laughed, it lightened up the room. Her hair was a rich shade of mahogany. It flowed in waves to adorn her glowing, porcelain-like skin. Her eyes, framed by long lashes, were a bright, emerald-green and seemed to brighten the world.
"Fuck, I completely forgot about Sabrina's birthday gift." I mumbled in remembrance.
"What can I giver her?" I asked.
Suddenly, I heard tiny footsteps coming towards my door, when I saw Arianna's head slightly peaking my room door.
"Arianna!" I said in a raspy voice.
She blissfully dashed into my room and tackled me on my back.
"Oh, so that's how you wanna play?" I said giggling.
I began tickling her as she laughed like tinkling bells. I stopped and she was still laughing on the bed.
"What are you doing?" she asked hyperactive.
"I'm thinking of a birthday gift for Sabrina!"
"I know of an idea!"
"Oh really?"
"Yeah!"
"What is it?"
"You should sing to her like you always sing to me."
"You're right," I continued, "thanks Arianna." I said squeezing her like a bear.
"Alright, Alright!" Arianna said releasing me and escaping from my room.
Expeditiously, I grabbed my scrapbook and sat at my table. I began scribbling down some lyrics that were in my head for the longest while. I continued writing after an hour or two until I came up with the perfect love song. There were countless sheets of paper lying on the floor.
I had a few more ideas playing around in my mind, so I decided to add it to the surprise.
Later on I text-ed Sabrina.
"Hey, can I pick you up?" I pressed send, smiling.
Instantly, my phone buzzed as I fished it out of my pocket.
"At what time?"
"In the next 20 minutes?"
"Yeah sure :)"
"Meet you there! :)"
I went downstairs and stuffed a few surprises in the back of my truck.
After a few minutes of driving, I was at Sabrina's place.
Meanwhile, Sabrina glided through her window and step by step, she shimmied down the tree, wind blowing her hair as her hands slide along the rough bark. The entire descent was over in seconds, and I had never seen such grace.
She came down so sleekly and entered my truck.
I looked at her as she flushed, she looked stunning.
She was wearing the perfect dress, it sat on her body as if it had been made for her. Its satin folds hugged her figure following her curves and the deep blue was gorgeous against her ivory skin. Her black hair hung perfectly, its choppy layers framed her face.
