Chapter 7-Day at the mall

Bright and early the next morning, Sabrina rose up from bed with a wolfish smile on her face.

"It was a new day to start something new!" she uttered to herself.

She swiftly moved across the room she opened her bulletproof window. The birds were singing and the flowers were blooming as the sun peeked from behind the puffy,snow white clouds. The magnificent presence of a Saturday morning floated in the atmosphere. All nature was alive.

Frankly she determined to make this day, a day to spend with her friends,just to clear her mind from everything else. She traversed downstairs and greeted her mom.

"Good morning mom!" she said mischievously.

Sabrina's mom acquired, "Morning sweetheart, have a cupcake!" She took a bite of the chocolate chip cupcake her mom made specially for her.  

She casually asked "Can I go out with my friends today?

Her mom replied "Sure,but no boys allowed OK!"

She was shocked by the response she received because her mom doesn't usually allow her to leave the house.

Then she said "Yes mom, Thank you!" "I love you!" she hugged her and planted a small kiss on her cheek.

She dashed up the step like quicksilver and eagerly called up her friends. They all agreed to go to the mall, so she got ready. She freshened up and picked out her clothes. She was wearing a pair of ripped jeans with a basic tee,black boots, and the perfect hat to finish off the look. Sabrina is a simple girl, she doesn't over do the make-up and accessories. Soon enough her friends had arrived at her house.

She was all ready and stimulated to go!

She grabbed her purse and went downstairs. She said bye to her mom and they hit the road. They all went with Annie's SUV that was parked outside. While they were on there way to the mall, Sabrina switched on the radio and their favorite song was on. "Story of my life"- by One Direction. They all sang along to it with their melodious voices.

"Written in these walls are the stories that I can't explain

The moment the song finished they had reached their destination. They all came out the car and went to the mall together. When they entered the mall the first thing that caught Sabrina's attention was the book store, obviously because she loves to read. Sabrina and Annie decided to go to the bookstore while Selena and Hailey went exploring the shoe store.

Sabrina got her chance to finally get the book that she wanted for a very long time which was "The Fault In Our Stars" It's an extraordinary book. She've asked her mom many times to buy it but she didn't, so she bought it herself today. Annie had bought "The Hunger Games"  because that was her favorite book at the moment. Afterwards they all met up at the cafeteria. They bought pizza and had it for lunch. Then they had ice-cream for dessert. Later on in the day, the four friends went to Galactica and played a few games....maybe more.

They all enjoyed themselves between all of the fun they were having, Sabrina took pictures to treasure each moment. It was getting dark so Sabrina checked the time on her phone and it was eight o'clock. They had practically spent an entire day at the mall. She couldn't believe how late it was because they were so caught up with the drama.

"Everyone it's time to go home!" she said wistfully.

"Awwh already?" Annie complained.

"Mhmmm" she murmured. They all reached home safely that day. When Sabrina reached home her mom was already on the couch waiting for her.

"Where have you been,young lady?"  her mom uttered.

Sabrina replied "Sorry mom,i got carried away!"

Her mom said, "Well you're grounded!"

Sabrina frowned and went to her room, angrily slamming the door behind her. She felt guilty for a moment but she didn't care. Later that night she remembered that she took pictures at the mall,so she had a look at them. She treasured those pictures and even framed them.

"It was the happiest day of her life!"
