Eli's POV
I decided to sit outside of the airport since it was a nice day out. I quickly got my suitcase and my guitar and walked outside. I sat there with my suitcases and my guitar on the ground checking twitter.
"Eli?" Hunter asked.
"Yeah, that's me. I'm coming." I said, putting my phone away and picking up my bags and guitar.
"When did you get a guitar?" Hunter asked.
"I got it when I was seven. I taught myself how to play." I explained.
"Starting young boy." he said, smiling.
"When don't I?" I said, laughing. I put my bags in the backseat and took my spot in the front seat.
"So did Kati tell you that she got a record deal with Big Machine Records?" Hunter asked.
"Uh, I think so. If she did, I don't remember." I said, laughing a little.
"It was sorta her birthday present from Cassidy and I." Hunter said.
"I bet she was happy." I said, imagining her reaction.
"Oh, she was. You know, when Ella was born, she started to change." Hunter said, smiling.
"What do you mean by changing?" I asked.
"She started calling me dad and Cassidy mom." Hunter started. "She said she loved us more. She helps Ella with her homework. When even lets Ella do her makeup."
"So when do I get to meet my little sister?" I asked, smiling.
"We could probably stop at the studio and chill there until Sam shows up with Ella." Hunter said.
"Ok, I'm game for that." I said, laughing.
"Looks like you get to remember the guys today." he said.
We sat in silence for most of the way there, listening to the faint sound of country music.
"Were here. Does it look familiar?" Hunter asked.
"Yeah, yeah it does." I said, smiling.
"Oh, it looks like Devo and Steve are here already." he said, running towards the door.
Hunter walked inside first while I followed. "Hey Hunter."
"Hey guys, remember this kid?" Hunter asked, pushing me forward.
Hunter's POV
"Uh, is that Eli?" Devo asked, sounding shocked.
"Yeah, that's me." Eli said.
"Wow kid, you're getting so big! How old are you now?" Steve asked.
"15, the same age as Kati." Eli explained.
"Oh my gosh, how could I forget you and Kati are twins!" Steve said, facepalming himself.
"Yeah, I actually came back so we could be one big family again." Eli explained.
"So Eli, how well can you play guitar." I asked after a while.
"Hand me a guitar and I'll show you." he said, smiling.
He took the guitar in hand and found his place on the neck of the guitar. He carefully starts to strum a familiar tune. His eyes glaze over, almost as if he's in a trance, for the entire song. He played his favorite song from his childhood, My Wish, by Rascal Flatts. I sang this song for him every night after the accident.
"Hunter, did you hear what I just said?" Eli asked.
"What, no." I said, paying attention now.
"Sam just got here." he said, motioning towards the door.
