"Miss...Adel is it?" The dock worker's fingers tapped across the screen as the woman withdrew her scroll from the scanner. "First Year Student...graduated from Signal...everything is here, did you get your uniform and living supplies alright?"

Coco Adel, lowering her shades and lifting her case up in front of her, nodded. She understood his question of her uniform, after all she had decided against wearing it for the trip to the school. Instead she was sporting her newest in short-lived clothing choices, with a black leather jacket over a gray shirt, with brown cargo pants and spiked black boots.

"All here." Lowering the case back to the ground to allow the wheels to move it around, she looked around the loading dock. Completely empty, aside from a few workers, she frowned and turned back to the worker. "Are the pilots here yet? I assume this is some sort of shuttle to the school right?"

"Hmm? Oh yes, well it shuttles to the school but with dust prices steadily rising over the past few months we've decided to wait until as many students have arrived as possible before leaving to the school. Can't exactly use an entire airship just to transport one or two people, I'm sure you understand." He reached for her suitcase and she raised an eye-brow and smirked. Offering him the handle, he pressed it down to snap it back into the case, and attempted to lift it by the handle.

The worker blinked, took a breath, and tried again to lift it. He managed about an inch off the ground and huffed. Coco chuckled to herself and reached forward, laying the case on it's back and unzipping it.

"Let me help you with that..." Coco pulled out a smaller black case and set it down beside her, before zipping the pack up and motioning for him to try again. He lifted the bag with ease and his face showed a high degree of surprise. Amused by his reaction, Coco looked around the sparse dock and frowned again. "So when do we leave then?"

"Er, more than likely not for a few hours yet..." He was staring quizzically at the case she was holding, before snapping out of the trance. "Ah, feel free to browse the ship or make yourself comfortable, you can even leave and come back if you want, though we would have to re-scan your scroll in that case. I'll go ahead and move your things to the baggage transport."

"Wonderful." Coco droned and rolled her eyes. She had hoped that she would be able to do some shopping to replace her current set of clothing before orientation. Unfortunately if they weren't leaving for a few hours she doubted that the extra time would be available once they landed at Beacon. "I'll just wait on the ship then."

The dock worker nodded and whistled to a man with a dolly. The other worker, wearing an identical white and blue uniform, rushed over and put her luggage on the bottom, before awkwardly looking around. Eventually he wheeled her lone bag off to what Coco could only assume was the baggage loader. She whistled a tune to herself as her boots clicked against the metal floor of the ship.

Well it's certainly a bigger ship than the ones they had at Signal...

Coco's mind wandered as she walked past the windows that lined the walls around her. Finding one with a comfortable amount of shade, she slid it open just enough that she could lean out with her elbows propped on the sill. Somehow she had to kill a few hours without any of her supplies. Her fingernails clicked across the sill in boredom.

A few minutes passed as more workers began to arrive, the place suddenly a busy body of matching uniforms. One of them made their way onto the ship and stretched out, cracking his knuckles. He spotted Coco and raised an eye-brow.

"Little early aren't you?" He approached her casually and she frowned.

"I was hoping to have left when I got here. Little did I know that I'd have to wait for every other student to get here. So yeah, little early." His casual approach slowed as she stared at him and spoke with a degree of impatience.
