Team CFVY paused for a moment to catch their breath. They'd managed to avoid the group of citizens that had basically declared a hunt for them, but not at the cost of most of their stamina. The group had accused them, or more specifically velvet, of being a potential associate of the White Fang after a criminal left behind his jacket and a Grimm mask had fallen from it. With no time to even explain themselves, and people getting riled up and aggressive with talks of turning them in, their only option had turned into fleeing.

Coco was still gripping Velvet's hand, having taken the lead in bringing her through the city, and attempted to pull it away while they caught their breath. While her hand loosened, Velvet's instead tightened. Her worried expression caught Coco's and pleaded with her not to let go. Coco's face turned flush for a brief moment before she nodded and held on tight. Velvet managed a weak smile while they all gasped for breath.

They stood outside the steps up to the school from the town and were completely alone. Coco looked around to ensure there was no chance of being overheard and started to stuff the jacket with the mask into her bag.

"Okay, when we get back to the school we have to act casual. If we start running around out of breath people might try to talk to us. Personally I just want to get back to our rooms and pass out." Coco looked up to the sky where the sun was setting in the distance and the world was turning dark. She paused for a moment to admire the sunset, before the task at hand snapped her back to reality.

"Are you sure we should not simply contact the headmaster about the situation?" Yatsuhashi's breathing was still heavy but he was standing upright doing his best to calm down.

"I thought about that, and personally I'd rather not deal with it at the moment. I'm sure we're all exhausted and he'll probably just have us contact the police anyways. Tomorrow when we're on break we can head back into town and try our best to explain the situation. Hopefully people aren't still riled up by then..." Coco trailed off as a small group of students was coming up to the gate behind them.

"I love that sweet's shop, and that outfit you got is adorable!" The pair of girls didn't seem to pay any mind to Team CFVY as they walked up the steps, and Coco led her team up right behind them.

As they entered the grounds, trying their hardest to hide their heavy breaths, they walked casually across the courtyard and onto the campus. There were plenty of students casually sitting around the grounds, some admiring the sunset and others practicing in the open grassy areas. The stone path to the front doors of the main building felt like it was getting longer with every step they took.

Coco tried to keep her head low, but with Yatsuhashi's size and Velvet's ears, they weren't exactly the hardest group to notice. Just as they had made it about halfway through the courtyard Coco saw a group to her right look in their direction, eyes go wide and they started to point and whisper to the people around them. As she turned away from them to avoid direct eye-contact she noticed that groups on their other side were doing the same. She increased the pace of her walk, pulling Velvet behind her, and Yatsuhashi and Fox started to walk faster as well.

The whispers were turning into audible conversation as everyone started to speak louder and louder, some starting to follow after them. They were getting closer to the doors when a pair of female students blocked their path. Coco thought about just barreling through them but simply stopped and pursed her lips.

"Er, you're Coco right? Coco Adel?" The girl looked up with her eye-brows furrowed, as if she was doing her best to remember and focus on something. Coco looked back at her team who simply shrugged, unsure of the proper reaction to make. If somehow word had gotten from the town to the school they might be painted as some sort of criminals at this point. She wanted to avoid a scene but there was no other way out of the situation.
