The demon and the young lady had been spending time together for over two months. After every time they'd see eachother, another ornament would be gracing her body. Alden loved her with whole his heart, the love slowly turning into a dark and sinister obsession.
When the two would see eachother there was another person that always joined them, one that wasn't interested in the relationship between them, but more in the things he could get out of it. Sebastian Michaelis had been there by every weekly meet-up, although he didn't like spending time with them. Alden wasn't too fond of the involvement of the demon, there was only one person that demanded that the second demon joined them, that being the young woman herself, Dorothy.

They were sitting around a table in a local cafe close to Dorothy's house. This was the final meeting before they would either part ways or stay together forever. An expensive bouquet of deep purple roses laid on the wooden table, spreading an awfully sweet smell through the entire building. Each of them had a glass infront of them with a content of their liking in it.

"Dorothy." Alden was the first to speak up since they got their drinks. The young woman slowly looked up from staring at her drink. "Your answer?" For a few seconds she looked confused, raising her finely shaped eyebrows and the corners of her mouth slightly pointing downwards.

Before she could answer the doors of the cafe shot open, revealing a woman with long red hair and green eyes. The royal demon sighed as the woman quickly made her way to their table with a toothy grin plastered on her attractive face. "Alden!" She yelled. "Guess what!" Her excitement radiated off of her in waves. Alden just rolled his eyes at her.

"What?" He asked with a hint of annoyance hidden in his deep voice. The woman plopped down on the last available stool around their table.

"I'm pregnant." Dorothy and Sebastian both frowned and turned to Alden. As soon as the demon catched their glances he waved them with his hand away.

"Calm down," he took a sip of his beverage, "it isn't mine, I don't have that kind of relationship with her." Everyone turned back to the excited female, who was sitting at the end of the wooden table.
"Congratulations, Cecily."

"Thank you very much, my dear friend." She giggled, sending a wink in Alden's way. Then she turned to the other two people that were sitting at the table.

"My apologies for my sudden appearance in this little meet-up. I am the wife of his brother, Cecily Isabella Sutcliff. It is very, véry nice to meet you two." Sebastian observed the young female and couldn't help but be impressed by the beauty of her. Her wavy red hair framed her beautiful, spotless face and gave her a very superlunary look. Her teeth were white as snow and her eyes a bright green. Her plump lips, together with her hourglass shaped body, added some sexiness to her whole appearance.

"My name is Dorothy, it's nice to meet you." The two women shook hands with both bright smiles decorating their faces. Sebastian just gave her a small nod.

"But Dorothy," Alden spoke up again, "your answer?"

Dorothy slowly took a sip of her drink, looking a bit uncomfortable. She glanced at Sebastian, who's eyes met hers for a slight second.

"Well, Alden, I want to be honest with you." The [brunette/blonde/raven/redhead] put down her half filled glass with a sour expression on her face, one that screamed 'bad news for Alden'.

"I already got my eyes on someone else." She felt her heart beat faster in her chest. "I don't love you and I never will so my answer is no." A loud bang followed. The royal demon had slammed his large hand onto the table, making the whole cafe go dead silent and turn to the little table in the back that they were sitting at.

"Who?" He spoke through exposed teeth, slightly leaning over the table. Dorothy glanced at Sebastian.

"Sebastian." Her voice was shakey. Alden immediately turned to Sebastian with a look of pure hate in his eyes.

"This is your fault!" The raging demon exclaimed. "You made her fall in love with you, didn't you?!" The other demon looked a bit uncomfortable.

"No he didn't!" Dorothy exclaimed.

Alden shot up from his seat, knocking the stool over, making it hit the ground with a loud bang. "Fine then. I wish you two the best." With that he stormed off. Cecily was the only one the follow the enraged prince, throwing a glare at Dorothy just before she left.

It became silent around the table. After half of the small group had dissapeared everyone in the cafe started minding their own business again, chatting and drinking the night away. The young lady was the first to speak up again. "I'm sorry you had to discover my affection for you this way. I didn't mean to tell you this so soon." Sebastian didn't smile, he neither looked angry, he just had an expression made of stone covering his handsome face. His eyes directly met the [E/C] eyes of the girl on the opposite of the table.

"You don't have to apologise. I am the one who owes you an apology. I'm sorry, Dorothy, but I can not return your feelings." That moment it felt like her heart shattered into tiny little pieces. The raven silently got up from his stool, nodding at the girl before walking straight out of the cafe, not even looking back to see the tears rolling over her red cheeks.
