Mila-Rose's POV

I smile as I curl deeper into Jonah's side. Logan has left and the boys and I haven't left the outdoor trampoline. We've brought multiple blankets and pillows out and laid them down on the trampoline. Pancake is curled up on Jonah's stomach, fast asleep. Waffle has taken on the spot next to her favorite, Jack. We've watched the sunset and now we are looking at the stars and telling stories. Daniel is telling a story about trying to take a cool picture with the sun in the background. I gasp and shot up from my spot, running inside the house. I rush up to my room and grab the small box. I quickly make my way back to the guys, who are all sitting up in shock. I sit back next to Jonah and hand him the box.

He raises his eyebrow and looks at me. I gesture for him to open the box, silently hoping he likes it. He opens the box and inside sits a little silver sun necklace. I reach towards the necklace on my neck and grab it. "It's a sun because you are my sun. And I'm the moon, that why I have the moon. You know how the moon only glows because it's reflecting off the sun? Well that's me with you. You are my sun and I only really truly shine when I'm with you." I explain the meaning the necklace. Jonah hands me the necklace and turns so I can put it on. I clip the necklace in and he turns around. "I love it Milly. Thank you." He says. Then he's kissing me. I gently smile into kiss.

We break away at the sound of the other boys cheering. I lean my head into Jonah's chest and blush. I feel him chuckle as he grabs my hand. "You guys are so cute it's disgusting." Jack comments, rubbing Waffle. "Love you too Jack." I say. "Christina says you guys are the cutest thing ever." Corbyn says. "She isn't even here." Jonah says. "I recorded that whole moment. You guys broke the internet." Corbyn explains. My phone lights up from all my friends texting me at once. "Great you guys broke my phone." I joke, grabbing it. I open the first text from Logan and read it out loud. "Logan said we can't be that cute anymore." I say, laughing. "My mom said we are way too cute for words. And that she's expecting grand babies soon. That's not happening." I say. Jonah pales as the other boys laugh.

I have texts from Colby, Sam, Kat, Devyn, Lauren, Todrick, Jessie, Colleen, Eva, Bethany, Lilly, Zoe, Tyler, Troye, Blake, Reece, George, Luke, James, Mason, Noah, Liza, Alisha, David, Joe, Rachel, Casper, and Gabbie. Deciding to not text them back, I set my phone back down and lay my head on Jonah's shoulder. I look out towards the city and all the lit up buildings. This city never sleeps and it's beautiful. "It kinda sucks that you can't ever really see the stars in LA." I say. "Where did that come from?" Zach asks. I shrug. "When I was little my dad used to tell me that whenever people died they became stars. So when he passed away, every night I would climb out my window and look for him. I always found him. He was always the brightest star in the sky." I say, looking at the city.

"What was he like, your dad?" Daniel asks hesitantly, not knowing how I'll react. "He was the greatest dad I could have asked for. He supported me in everything I did. When I had an obsession with soccer, he came to everyone of my games. When I did ballet, he came to all my recitals. He was always there, cheering me on. One time when I was little I got hit by a car and when I got to the hospital he was right by my side. When he asked how I was doing I told him 'daddy I'm fine. The nice lady said all my bleeding was internal. That's where the blood's supposed to be.' And kept coloring. He laughed and shook his head. His mom always got mad because I never acted like a lady. She always said 'girls are made of sugar, spice and everything nice.' And my dad told her that his little girl was made of adventure, fine beer, brains and no fear." I say, smiling at all the times I spent with him at the farm.

"What else?" Jonah asks, genuinely curious. "He would take me to the shooting range all the time. Sometimes I'd go by myself. Everyone knew me. And he'd take me stargazing all the time. And we'd always go to the farmer's market. And he'd always let me sing. Whenever he was in the garage working on something, he'd want me in there. I'd either talk or sing. Sometimes I'd play guitar and sing. He enjoyed it so much he would take me and let me play on street corners. All the money we collected we'd give to homeless people. That was fun. We worked on the farm together. Girls typically worked in the house down in the country. Guys we're usually the ones outside, getting dirty. I'd always come home and have to hose myself down because I was usually so dirty." I say. "Sounds interesting." Daniel says.
