Mila-Rose's POV
Once we all got back to my house, we immediately put on pajamas. All the siblings, and mom, crashed pretty quickly, due to their early flights. The boys and stayed up a little bit and watched a couple movies. Corbyn and Daniel were the first to head to bed and Jack and Zach quickly followed. Jonah and I finished the second movie before going to bed. We both crawl into my bed and snuggle up close to each other and easily fall asleep. Around three forty five I'm woken up by my phone buzzing. I grab it and sit up before answering. "Hello?" I ask, not having looked at the caller ID before answering. "Hey Mila. It's Connor. I know we just started talking again but can you do me a huge favor and babysit Trevor?" He says. "Yeah that's fine. I'm assuming Selena went into labour?" I say through a yawn. "Yeah. We're almost at your house. I'm just dropping off Trevor and his bag then taking Sel. See you soon." He says. I bid him a goodbye and walk downstairs with my phone to wait for him. About five minutes later he lightly knocks on my door. I quickly answer and grab Trevor and his things. "Thanks sis. I owe you one. Love you and see you later." He says, quickly walking back to his car. I hold the sleeping Trevor in my arm and wave at Selena. I make sure I have everything before heading back inside.I set Trevor's bag on the floor next to the couch and sit with Trevor on the couch. I lay back and prop myself up slightly on a pillow and let Trevor rest his head on my chest. I pull a blanket over the both of us and rub his back while he sleeps. I shut my eyes and lightly fall back asleep. After a while Trevor starts to fidget in his sleep before his eyes lightly flutter open. "Hey Trev. It's auntie Mila. Mommy and daddy are giving you a baby sister right now." I say. He rubs his little eyes snd yawns. "Come here bub." I say and pull him close. He lays his head on my shoulder and closes his eyes. I run my hand through his hair until he falls back asleep. I slowly stand up and lay him on the couch, careful so he doesn't wake up. He curls up and I lay a blanket over him. I smile and lightly kiss his head before walking into the kitchen. I glance at the clock on the stove and the little neon letters read 4:09 am. I sigh and turn on the coffee pot. I place a mug under it and press a couple buttons and let the machine pour my coffee. I hold back a yawn and grab the mug when the machine is done. A small knock rings through my house and I set my mug down. I quickly walk over to the door.
I open the door and see Mariana standing there, tears running down her cheeks. I pull her into my chest and close the door. "Sorry for coming so early. I-" she says. I hush her and lead her into the kitchen. I sit her down at the table and make her a cup of hot chocolate. I set the mug in front of her and sit next to her with my coffee. "Tell momma Mills what happened." I say, sipping my coffee. She takes a drink from her mug before answering. "I got into a fight with my cousin." she says. "About what?" I ask. "My mom wants to send my abuela to a nursing home. She said since she's getting old that she needs to be in a place where she can get the right care and there is immediate help if anything were to happen. My abuela doesn't want to go though." she explains. "Why doesn't abuela want to go?" I ask, sipping my coffee. "She doesn't wanna leave her house and family. She's lived in her house for seventy years. And her family is there. She's also scared that if she goes to a nursing home we'll forget about her and she won't see us anymore." She says. So you sided with abuela and your cousin sided with your mom?" I ask. She nods and wipes a tear. "Has your abuela told your family about her concerns and fears." I ask. "No. She doesn't want to seem weak or dependent. Plus my mom won't care. She's extremely stubborn." Mariana says.
"Technically abuela is your mom's mom. Abuela doesn't have to listen to her at all. Plus in the end its really her decision because she's the one living there or not." I say. Mariana nods. "I told my mom and cousin that but they didn't care. They still think she should live in a nursing home." Mariana says. I shake my head. "You can stay here until it all blows over." I tell her. She grins and thanks me. I sigh as I hear soft cries from the living room. I stand up from the table and walk into the living room, over to the couch. I pick up Trevor and set him on my hip before walking back into the kitchen. "Who's this little cutie?" Mariana asks, reaching for Trevor. "This is my nephew, Trevor." I say, letting her take him. "You have a nephew?" She asks. "I have a biological brother. This is baby number one. He's only here cause baby number two decided to make an appearance." I say. She nods and continues to play with Trevor. I smile as Trevor laughs at her, causing Mariana to laugh too.
I refresh my cup of coffee and Mariana's hot chocolate and make Trevor a bottle. I take Trevor and feed him the bottle while talking to Mariana. We sit at the table for a few hours until all the people leaving start waking up. They collect all their things and say goodbye. "Tell the boys we say bye. We knew they wouldn't be up this early." Mrs. Herron says. I nod and give everyone a hug. They all get inside of the multiple taxis and they head off. Mariana and I sit at the table with Trevor until a knock at the door interrupts us. I hand Trevor over to Mariana and get up to answer the door. I open it and standing there is Rosa, tears running down her face. "Rolex? What's the matter babe?" I ask, letting her in. I pull her into a hug and close the door. I lead her into the kitchen and Mariana's eyes widen at the sight. I shrug and she plays with Trevor. I sit Rosa down and sit next to her.
"Rosa, you gotta talk to me babe." I say. She sniffles and wipes her eyes. "Lillian left. She didn't say anything to me. She left me a note and all it said was that she had to leave and to not talk to her. She doesn't want to talk to us anymore and I can't afford that apartment by myself. I don't know what to do Mills. If I don't find a place to live then I'll have to go back home. I don't wanna go back home. I'll loose my modeling career and Daniel." She says. I pull her into a side hug. "You won't be losing either of those things because you're moving in with me." I say. "Are you sure?" She asks. I nod. "Thank you Mills!" She exclaims, hugging me. "No problem." I say. She wipes her face and turns her attention to Trevor and Mariana. "Who's that little guy?" She asks. I explain who Trevor is and she takes him from Mariana.
"He's so cute!" She says, playing with him. A thunder of footsteps comes from the stairs and all the boys come into the kitchen. "What did we miss?" Jonah asks, kissing my forehead. "Mariana is mad at her family so she'll be staying here for a bit. Lillian left so Rosa is moving in with me and your families left early and they say goodbye. Also guys meet Trevor. My brother's wife went into labor so that's why he's here." I explain. Zach is sitting next to Mariana with a arm around the back of her chair and Daniel is sitting next to Rosa, holding her hand. "You guys didn't know Lillian was leaving?" Jack asks. We all shake our heads.
"She left because she found out she had some type of sickness and wanted to head home. She started planning this a month or so ago so we broke everything off. I've already kinda moved on anyways." He explains, shrugging. "Jack has a girlfriend?" Mariana exclaims, holding a hand over her heart. "You realize you're gonna have to tell us everything." Rosa says. "I figured that much." He says, shrugging. "Spill Avery. Selena is in labor so I've got some time." I say. "Her name is Gabbie and we've been dating for a while." He shrugs. I coo and he rolls his eyes. "So when do I get to meet her? It's bound to happen at some point." I say. "I'd love to say never but that's not gonna happen." He says.
"Jack you might as well let it happen. Let her get used to my weirdness now so that way when you get married to her she doesn't flip her shit when she finally meets me." I say. "You'll meet her soon." He says. I grin and look around for Trevor. I find him in the hands of Jonah. "Give me my nephew and get out of the kitchen. I'm making breakfast." I say. Jonah hands over Trevor and they all leave. "What should we make Trev?" I ask. He just coos and grins. "Pancakes it is." I say. I hold him on my hip and start getting ingredients out for pancakes. I get to work and Trevor laughs as I drop a measuring cup. "I don't know why your laughing. You're in my other hand so I can drop you too." I say. "You aren't gonna drop him."
I whip around to see Jonah standing there. "How do you know?" I ask. "You love him too much." He says. "Well since you like to talk so much, you can hold Trevor and keep me company." I say. Jonah takes Trevor and watches me make pancakes. "Can you go get the others?" I ask. He nods and leaves the room. I set the pancakes and fruit salad on the table and set out plates and silverware. I grab some cups and set them out as everyone walks in. "What does everyone want to drink?" I ask. I get a bunch of milk and orange juice answers so I grab both from the fridge. I set both on the table and grab Trevor from Jonah. I usher them to all sit down and start eating. I grab Trevor's diaper bag and quickly change him. I wash my hands and carry him to my room. I give him a warm bottle and feed him. I lay down in bed with him and watch as he slowly falls asleep. I pull him closer into my chest and wrap my arms around him, slowly falling asleep too.
