I woke up to the sound of my alarm. BEEP BEEP BEEP. I groaned and turned on my back. I laid there staring up at the ceiling. There was a centipede making it's way into a hole, it struggled to keep from falling but it never did. It kept pushing and pushing until it was in the hole. I sighed and looked away, I fucking hate centipedes.
I sat up and felt a breeze, I shivered. 'why is the fucking window open' I questioned myself. I got up and closed it. I looked out the window and saw that it was about to rain as gray clouds surfaced. Raindrops fell followed by thunder. I turned around and made my way to the bathroom to take a shower.
After I was done I turned off the shower and stepped out. I wrapped in a towel and faced the mirror. I wiped off the steam and stared at myself. I have brown skin, big brown eyes with huge bags, high cheekbones a small nose and thin cracked lips. I put concealer on my bags, applied heavy eyeliner and black eye shadow. After I finished brushing my teeth I made my way to the closet.
I got dressed and walked downstairs. My mother already left for work and my brother is never home. Ever since my father left us for a woman half his age nothing been the same. I'm alone I'm always alone. I grabbed my bag and walked out the door.
