a letter to society

how would you feel if I told you I wasn't okay?

would you ask why and genuinely care?

or would you pretend that I'm fine?

or would you not even read my message because I don't matter?

See people always think it's
the first one but it usually never is.

see we believe that people care and will always be there but truth is some people really don't care if you live or die today. they don't care if you're doing okay or if you ate today.

and to be honest darling most people don't see struggle. they see the picture but don't read the words behind it. they see the smile and the the beauty of a family or you but they don't see the struggle it took just to get out of bed. the struggle of losing your job, the struggle of  loneliness.

we see what we want and we hear what we want to believe.

but there are scars that no eye can see not even me and I have four. (Joking) I have scars the size of Pangea on my heart that have yet to heal from my past. Everyone has a story and everyone struggles. And everyone needs someone.

Whether you see the picture as a picture or you dig deep and read the words and struggle behind it doesn't mean it's always happy.

Everyone has a struggle whether it be minor to someone else that is their struggle. And just because you can't see it doesn't mean it isn't there.

Struggle is everywhere and if you see someone struggling reach out and help them. Be kind and listen because that's all anyone ever really wants. And even if you can't see it check up on people.
