Chapter Nine

Persephone sat in the tub crying while one of the men stood by the door. She was mentally trying to prepare herself for what was about to happen. She knew exactly what Trey meant when he said he would erase Riley from her skin. Oh how she wished that she could fight him off and leave, how she wished Riley would just burst through the door. She pulled her legs even closer to her and cried harder. The bathroom door opened and in walked Carmen carrying some items. The guard asked her what did she want and she informed him that Trey wanted her to help her get ready. The guard step on the other side of the door leaving her alone with Persephone.

"I don't have much time Seph, I just lied to him. Please tell me what do you want me to do? I know what he is about to do to you. He told me after the baby was gone I would have to earn my pay in another way, then he grabbed my ass. We need to get out of here now"

"Don't worry about me. I'll be fine. I know what he is going to do to me. I need you to do two things ok" Persephone said in a sad voice.

"Anything."

"In the room where he was keeping me there is a phone in the floor, right below where you saw me sitting. Look at the last number and call it. That is Riley. I stole the phone two days ago from Am. If the phone is off try from your phone or one of the house phones. Tell him who you are and to please hurry before Trey makes our daughter disappear. Second I need you to hide with Phoenix until you here the commotion. Riley is not coming alone if I know Jake. There will be a legion of bikers headed this way. When you hear the noises you run out with my daughter even if I am not with you. The guys will protect you." Persephone said hugging her.

Just then the guard saw the hug, "What you two bitches whispering about?" he said.

"I am not whispering I was trying to help her dry off." Carmen responded.

"That enough the boss doesn't want her in any clothes. You get out of her and you wait on the bed." he said opening the bathroom door fully. Carmen looked at Persephone and she gave her a nod.

Trey entered the room and Persephone just kept her head down. "Trey what have I ever done to you to deserve this?" Trey looked at her and laughed, "Do you really want to know?"

"Yes. What you about to do to me is rape Trey. All because I was with Riley because I love him? I loved you once and all you did is this" she said opening the towel so he could see all the bruises on her body. Trey walked up to her and ran his hand along her stomach which made her want to throw up.

"Yes it is a work of art. The answer to your question as to why; is simple because you are a woman. Your weak, and you were put on this earth to do as men please. My father taught me that a long time ago. You use them to release your anger, to release your stress." Trey said as he began taking off his clothes.

"So you like seeing women like this, bruised and battered?"

"My father taught me that in order to keep control of this business you have to an outlet so I chose the same one he did. He had extreme control of all the women in his life. They knew their place and knew what they were supposed to do. You had begun to learn that until you started having fancy ideas about being free. Ideas about being on your own and every woman's stupid idea of love. That's what you thought you had with the white boy didn't you. Love. What a stupid notion. I bet he filled your head with all kind of ideas about protecting you and caring for you and keeping you safe from me. HA! Look at how good he protected you. I still got you because you are mine and always will be." At this point he had removed all his clothes except his boxer briefs. He came to stand in front of Persephone and grabbed her and threw her on the bed.

"Trey please don't do this. You don't have to this." Persephone pleaded.

"Shut up bitch." Trey said as he grabbed her hands to tie her to the bed.

Carmen took advantage that no one was around and that Phoenix was down for a nap. She quietly entered the room and found the phone exactly where Persephone told her it would be. She immediately turned it on and saw that it sis not have a lot of battery time so she needed to make the call now. She pulled up the call log and dialed the last number. Thank God it was ringing. She hoped that she would reach Riley on time.

Riley, Jacob and the rest of the crew had already made their way close to the location that the cell phone pinged off. They camped out and were now waiting for the right time to head in. They were going over the plans once again when Riley's phone rang.

"Seph" Riley answered.

"Hello is this Riley" Carmen responded.

"Yes who is this?"

"Look I'm Carmen and I have been looking out for your daughter. I know you all are supposed to be on your way to rescue us, but you have to come now. Something really bad is about to happen to Seph." she said excitedly.

"What is about to happen?"

"I think Mr. Jefferson is about to rape her. He has her naked in his room and I don't think he just wanted to give her a bath out of the goodness of his heart."

"We are close by. Can you give me the exact address and how many people are there?" Riley asked desperately.

"It's 5520 Philmore Ave. the last house on the right, there is a long gate that leads up to the house. Please hurry I don't think she has much time. I have the baby ready." Carmen told him.

"We are on our way." Riley said hanging up the phone.

"Jake we riding now" Riley shout to him.

"What's going on was that Seph?" Jake asked.

"Something terrible is about to happen to my girl and we have no time to waste."

"Say no more, PRIDE BROTHERS LET'S RIDE." Jake screamed to the crew.

All at once everyone gathered their belongings and the roaring sounds of Harleys filled the air.
