Chapter Eleven

Persephone sat up in the bed slowly, trying not to make any sudden moves. Riley handed her the bundles of clothes. She took them and carefully placed them on the bed next to her. Trey began to laugh like a crazy man.

"Did you really think I was going to let you leave here with her." he said still pointing the gun at them.

"Why don't you take the gun off of her and try and do to me what you did to her you fucking coward. You beat her like she was a fucking dude, come do that to me!" Riley yelled walking towards him. Persephone stood up and grabbed him, "Riley no please, I'm ok." she said.

"Aww look at you still acting like you care. You really thought that this cowboy, this dirty fucking biker was going to save you that he was going to love. No one can love you specially this white boy. You thought I did but you are nothing but a fucking mixed breed whore who is just good for one thing and that is sucking my dick bitch." Trey said.

Riley couldn't take no more and lounged for Trey knocking the gun out of his hands. They were throwing blow for blow. Persephone quickly put on the pants and shirt from the bed and began scurrying looking for the gun.
Riley was gaining the upper hand on Trey until he looked out the corner of his eyes trying to see where Seph was. Trey landed a punch to his jaw knocking him to the ground. Riley stumbled trying to get up and Trey kicked him in the ribs. Riley fell to the ground again. Trey began stomping Riley. Persephone ran towards Trey and began punching him. With every punch she remembered every time he hit her every time he kicked her. Trey blocked one of her punches and landed one of his own.

"Stupid bitch," he yelled. "You actually think you can beat me?"

"I beat your ass once before and I'm going to do it again." she said once again engaging him into a fight. Trey really thought he would have the upper hand on her but he was wrong. Persephone had him sprawling on the floor trying to catch his breath. All the anger and hate she felt for him was pouring out in her punches. Her hands were now bloody, a combination of his and her blood. Trey reached for her throat and suddenly she felt something hard and cold pressing at the back of her head.

"Let him go and move very slowly." Am said.

"Hum I wondered where did your ass run off too." Persephone told her.

"Oh I was headed out them I saw something that my eyes just couldn't believe. I saw Riley and Jake and the rest of the crew headed in this direction. I just knew that they were headed here to try and rescue you, so I hung back. I saw them drop a couple of guys can't really say I'm sorry for them. Then I saw Jake leave out with that stupid Mexican girl and the baby. I knew Riley stayed behind to get you out. Not that it really matters because neither one of you will get out of here alive. Your daughter will still be a bastard once the two of you are gone." Amaryllis rambled on.

"My daughter is protected from you now and that all that matters to me." Seph answered eyeing something behind Amaryllis. Trey was still trying to catch his breath on the floor. Neither him nor Am realized Riley was getting up. Amaryllis was just about to say something when she felt the coldness of Riley's gun pointed at her temples. "Lower your gun Am now."

"Riley baby, I thought you were a goner." Am said softly.

"Take your gun off of Seph and you just might walk out of here with your life."

"I never understood your obsession with her when you know that you are supposed to be with me. We could have been happy together but you just had to go and bed this piece of trash and you gave her a baby. Why didn't you give that to me?"

"Because I don't sleep with whores. Look at you pitiful. You had to drug me just to sleep with me. I don't want you, no one wants you get it thru your head bitch. This right here is all I need. She is more to me than you might think. I prefer to ride with her than to even have you as an afterthought." Riley said holding Persephone close to him who had come over to his side.

"I told you last time if I couldn't have you no one would. After I kill her I'm going to drown your daughter with my own hands bitch. Riley won't have nothing to remember you or your mutt by and..." One single gunshot rang before she could finish her sentence.

Riley was too slow for her. While Amaryllis was going on about how she was going to kill their daughter Persephone grabbed the gun out of his hands and put a bullet straight thru Amaryllis head before she could even finish her sentence. Trey by this time was attempting to stand up when Am fell to the floor. Persephone turned towards him and placed three bullets in his chest.

Riley looked at Seph's face. There was a void in her eyes as she squeezed the trigger. He carefully removed the gun from her hands, placed it in his holster.

"Seph, Seph look at me. Baby it over I'm here. Baby please look at me. It ok it's done." Riley said to her softly placing her face in both of his hands and kissing her forehead gently.

"Riley"

"Yea babe I'm here." he said pulling her close to him.

"Take me home."
