Epilogue

Persephone was excited. The day was finally here, Riley's birthday. She had gone all month preparing behind his back. In the last four years she had not really celebrated his birthday per his request. But this year was going to be different. Since they were married last year she made it her mission to change the fact that he did not celebrate his own birthday. Riley made sure that all of Phoenix's birthdays were over the top so she decided to do the same for his.

Thankfully she had Jake's help to pull this off. Riley and some of the other Pride Brothers left on a run, (she wasn't sure what kind of run, she never asked), but everyone was returning today. She had become friendly with some of the Bottom Feeders and Jessica Jake's new girlfriend. They girls were helping her prepare the yard while Rickey barbequed. She was so happy that everything was coming together. Her phone began to ring and she fished it from her pocket.

"Hello?" she answered.

"Hi Goddess, how are my girls doing today?"

"Missing you as always. Phoenix drew you a new picture of her on your bike. I think her love for Harleys is in her blood, sadly."

"Sadly are you mad that she doesn't like those crotch rockets like you do?"

"I see you got jokes today, not sad a little disappointed but what can I expect from her daddy and uncles always giving her rides on those things."

"You seem to enjoy the ride when you're on it."

"More like I enjoy the rider and how do I enjoy him."

"And I love when you ride the rider" Riley said laughing.

"That I do love, now when are you coming home." she asked.

"I should be home in a few hours beautiful. We just stopped to refuel and we are hitting the road again. I got to call Jake and let him know how everything went."

"Are you whole?"

"Yes my love."

"Then I don't need to know anything else."

"Can I ask you a question?"

"Anything you know that" she responded.

"Why don't you ever ask me what I do on the runs?"

"I don't ask because I don't care what you do as long as you come home to me safe and whole. Two years ago when we lost our baby and you pulled me out of my depression the same way you pulled out of it when they took Phoenix I decided that I didn't care and I didn't want you to tell me. So don't. I'm good."

"Alright then my Goddess has spoken. I will see you soon."

"Love you bad ass."

"Love you too see you in a few."

Persephone hung up the phone. She had a few hours to finish the preparations. She headed to kitchen to make sure everything was going smooth. Carmen was helping make the cake while Phoenix was busy making her daddy a birthday card.

"Mommy mommy look do you think Daddy will like it I put another Harley on it. Mine is pink and Daddy's is black. You think Uncle Jake will help daddy make one for me.?"

"Daddy will love the card and you are only five years old you cannot have a Harley yet. Ok Princess."

"Ok Mommy" Phoenix said and ran off to her room.

Persephone laughed as she shook her head at her little girl. Next she called Jake to make sure that Riley's gift was ready.

It was five o'clock and all the guest were already gathering in the yard. The music, the food and drinks were everything that she had hoped for then she heard it. She could recognize the sound of Riley's Dyna a mile away. She scooped up Phoenix in her arms and waited for Riley to turn off the bike. Riley was in shock seeing all his brothers gathered around at their house. He removed his helmet and kissed Phoenix and Persephone, "Babe what is all of this?"

"This is your birthday celebration. I know you don't like celebrating it but if you celebrate mine and our daughters we are going to celebrate yours." She responded.

"Baby I have everything I need already. I have you and both of my daughters under the same room what more can I ask for?"

"Something I know both of us have always wished for and that is family. Look around we are surrounded by it."

"I can see that. Thank you just when I thought I couldn't love you any more you do something like this." He said leaning down to kiss her.

"You haven't seen anything yet wait till everyone leaves." She said giggling.

"Oh well I can make all these motherfuckers leave now if that's the case." He responded gently smacking her on her ass.

"Patience baby you always get it anyway. Let's go enjoy the party."

Riley went around saying hi to all his brothers. He kept searching and searching looking for his oldest daughter Zaya and she was nowhere to be found. He sat in a chair and after everyone sung him Happy Birthday he finally was about to ask Seph where was Zaya when he heard the roar of an engine. Persephone grabbed him by the hand and stood him up.

"I didn't know what to get you for your birthday so I got you something that I know you love just as much as you love us." Persephone pointed to where the roar of the engine was coming from. Riley looked and saw his seventeen year old daughter riding towards him on top of a 1946 Harley Davidson E Knucklehead painted in a Royal blue and black. I was the most beautiful bike he had ever seen and his jaw dropped.

"This is for me?" he said shocked.

"All for you baby, everything is in mint condition and ready to ride."

"And you can thank me and Zaya for that. Man does this girl know her bikes. Well hell she learned from the best... us" Jake said as he hugged Riley.

"Babe this is the best birthday ever."

"You and Jake go for a ride and when you get back I'll have my present ready for you. Trust me you don't want anyone to see that."

"Why don't you ride with me?"

"Because I have to get your gift ready silly."

With that Riley got on the Knucklehead and Jake on his Dyna and left to test the bike out. Zaya, Persephone and Carmen began cleaning up as everyone let. Within thirty minutes they had most everything was done and Zaya took Phoenix with her to give Persephone time to be with her dad. Living with her dad and Seph had been one of the best things not just for her but for everyone especially Riley.

Riley came in about an hour after the girls had gone to sleep. He walked in the bedroom and saw his wife dressed in his favorite black lingerie piece sitting in his chair. He removed his cut and placed it on the bed.

"Umm to what do I owe all this sexiness?"

"Boots and clothes off, shower then you get to touch."

"Yes ma'am." Riley said hurrying to their bathroom. 20 minutes later he walked back into the room with nothing but a towel on. Persephone immediately moved towards him and began passionately kissing him. It wasn't long before she was giving him the ride that he really wanted. Once they climaxed they laid in the bed holding each other. "Wow if I knew my birthday celebration would go like this I would celebrate them every day. Thank you that was the perfect gift."

"Oh that wasn't your gift, this is." She said as she reached in the bedside table and removed a box. Riley sat up opened the box and inside there was an ultrasound picture. Riley looked at her in shock, "Are you?" he asked. "In five more months you can welcome home another Prospect for the Pride Brothers Motorcycle club. Look closely baby because Ryan will be here soon. Riley looked at the ultrasound and saw that image showed the distinct characteristics of the baby being a boy. "Persephone I love you more than anything else in this world. I am yours forever." She kissed her bad ass biker and whispered against his lips "And I am yours always and forever."
