Babes In Toyland! An absolute gem! I honestly don't understand why they weren't more popular, they're such an amazing band. Kat Bjelland (the singer) is such a sweetheart, but then she goes on stage and it's just pure rage. It's amazing. They do have a sort of metal edge sound to them. Also, the original bassist, Michelle Leon, wrote a book called "I Live Inside". If you're a fan of Babes In Toyland, you HAVE to read this book. Even if you're not a fan, it's a seriously awesome read.
Bonus fact: Lollapalooza 1993. That summer Babes In Toyland, along with many other bands were apart of that tour. Kat Bjelland totally had a thing with Layne Staley (Alice Im Chains). Here's Proof:
They were totally together.
And now for some adorable pictures of them:Hahaha I love the caption, "A Chain meets A Babe".
