I open my eyes to the familiar white ceiling of Lucas's room. I feel at home, and I'm warm? I feel a pressure on me and roll onto my back. Lucas's arm is draped over my stomach. I shift my head so that I'm looking at his face and raise my free arm and boop his nose. He shakes his head and opens his green eyes. He smiles at me and closes his eyes again, tightening his hold on my and pulling me closer to him. I laugh as he kisses me and manage to break free soon after. I get dressed and lay back down on the bed.

I stroke Lucas's hair and he smiles into the pillow. "What do you want to do today?" I ask him. He opens his eyes and raises his eyebrows twice, implying what he wants to do. "Other than that," I say rolling my eyes, giggling.

He rolls over onto his back and I place my hands on the bed on either side of his torso. "Hang out with Riarkle?" I smile at the nickname we gave them and nod.  He pushes himself up into his elbows so pit faces are inches apart. He touches his forehead to mine.

"Thank you," he whispers and kisses me.

                                   . . .

A couple hours later we walk out of Lucas's front door, greeted by the loud noises of New York. Lucas grabs my hand after locking the door and we stroll along contently. "Do you think Archie will be there?" I whisper, worried saying his name too loudly will make him appear or something. Lucas's hand tenses in mine.

"I promise you, he won't bother you again, I'll make sure of it," I nod. Lucas takes his hand out of mine and wraps his arm around my shoulders, kissing my head. The sounds of cars surrounds us and it helps me to forget the night of the party. At least, for now.

We come up on the coffee shop and Lucas opens the door for me, like the gentleman he is. The first thing I see as I walk in is Riley and Farkle spoon feeding each other yogurt at the far booth. "Get a room," I complain as I sit down across from them. Riley stares at me hopefully.

"So it's true?" She asks. "You're back?" I nod, almost forgetting that she didn't know. It feels like so long ago. "You're so lucky we're sitting down or I would hug you so hard!" She squeals, resulting in us getting some weird looks from the couple across the room.

"Welcome back," Farkle says with a smile.

"Thanks," Riley grabs my hand across the table and looks at me with a dopey smile on her face. I sigh, but can't help and smile.

"I love you guys, you knew that?" She says, looking as though she might tear up.

"We know," we all say in unison. I pat her hand and Farkle wipes a tear from her eye.

"I'm sorry, I'm just so emotional," Riley fans herself with her hands. "So how are you?" She asks, trying to change the subject.

"I'm great, really really great," I say smiling at Lucas. I put my hand on his leg lovingly and he smiles back.

"I'm so happy to hear that," Farkle says.

"Farkle, Lucas, will you two go get us some smoothies? Strawberry, thanks," Riley says abruptly. The boys look at each other and shrug. They get up from the booth and immediately Riley looks at me intently, still holding onto my hands. "Spill," she demands.

         "What?" I ask innocently.

"I know something's different about you and it's not that your memory came back. Tell me," I look to my left at the boys in the long line and feel jittery to tell Riley.

"I think you know," I say with a smile. Riley's legs tap excitedly under the table and she smiles widely.

         "Give me details!"
