Click, click, click. The keyboard from the next went on with its click

Virgil was getting tired of his roommate staying up late, later, and later

The darker it got, the louder the keys. The darker it got, the more restless he got. Why couldn't his roommate go to sleep? He wondered as it got darker, darker, yet darker

The more anxious the surrounding air grew, the more anxious Virgil became. Anxious about his roommate's health. Anxious, anxious, and yet somehow more anxious.

As dawn came, it got lighter. The clicking of the keyboard didn't stop last night. Virgil was worried for his roommate, as it got lighter, lighter, and lighter.

Finally the clicking stopped. Thirty after five. Virgil got up to see what happened, only to find his roommate had passed out on his keyboard.

Doing the best he could, he hauled his roommate to his bed and kissed his forehead.

"Good morning, Princey."
