After the prom incident, I decided not to go to school for a few days. I felt like I had embarrassed myself there, showing my ice powers in front of the whole school.

It wasn't until a week later that I was forced to go to school. It was around 6 in the morning as I was still asleep. "Sonya wake up sweetie!" I slowly opened my eyes. "Mum?" I said groggily, "What is it?"

"Time for you to go to school" she said warmly, I turned my head to the celling and groaned, "I don't want to!" Mum sighed, "You've been absent for a week! That's enough for you!" Then she left my room, leaving me to think. "Well I better do what she says" I said aloud as I slowly got out of bed and headed downstairs.

After I made and ate breakfast, I went back upstairs and got changed into a blue tank top and some green shorts. Then I went back downstairs and went to watch TV in the living room. I wonder what's on? I thought as I turned the TV on, Probably nothing at this hour.

Sure enough, I couldn't find anything on that remotely interested me. So I turned the TV off and checked the time, it was 6:45. Maybe I'll go back to my room I thought as sat up from the sofa, it's better than just sitting around.

So I went back upstairs to my room and went into my room. When I was in the door archway I looked at the wardrobe where my prom dress was hanging, so far no one has seen Grim since prom night. I feel like at any moment that Grim will come knocking on my door and finish what he started. It scares me just thinking about it, though I know to keep my guard.

I went over to my laptop and started watching whatever was popular on YouTube. After an hour or so later, the sun was well up and practically burned my eyes. I better get going I thought as I pushed the screen down and grabbed my bag from under my bed where it had been since last week.

Then I went downstairs and grabbed my lunch "I'm off to school!" I called out as I headed towards the front door, I heard mum reply "Stay safe!" from somewhere in the house.

Once I got on the bus everyone stared at me, it was like no one knew that I was coming back. When I sat in my usual seat next to Gwen, she smiled at me. "Good to see you" she said happily, I gave her a weak smile "Yeah sure."

~TIMESKIP~

When the bus finally got school, everyone got off and me and Gwen headed off to our lockers. Just like on the bus, everyone stared at me and would back away from me if they went to close. Gwen must of noticed this because she said,"At least they aren't looking at you because of your looks."

After we were done putting our bags away, we went over to the cafeteria for a bit until the bell went off and we headed off to our classes. Once I got to the classroom, I sat down near the middle and waited for class to start. After 10 or so minutes of waiting, the teacher came. It was Mrs Menders. No! I thought as I leaned back on my chair, as she placed her things on the front desk.

"Morning class" she said slowly, not bothering to look up at us. "Morning Mrs Menders" the class said in monotone, Mrs Menders then turned to the blackboard and began writing down what we we're doing today. When she finished writing she turned to the class and flinched when she saw me.

I guess she wasn't expecting me to be back I thought. She looked a bit alarmed, as if I was a bomb that could go off. Then she took a deep breath, and went back to teaching the class, she acted like I wasn't even there. I glanced over at the other students, they would look at me, jump and then go straight back to what they were doing.

It's gonna be like this for a while I thought as I slouched down into my seat. Eventually after an hour of so later, the bell for recess rang and we headed out for recess. Once I got to my locker, I noticed that Chloe was hanging around alone.

She was dressed in some denim shorts and wore a red tank top covered in a leather jacket, which I found was rather off for her to be wearing. When she saw me, she walked over and for some reason she looked confuse. "Something's weird" she said softly, "Something weird is going on." "What me?" I snapped, she shook her head "I can't remember talking to you."

"What do you mean?" I asked angrily, "How could you forget talking to me?" She groaned "How should I know, my friends keep telling me that I asked Scott to attack you a few weeks ago, I don't even remember talking to him about it, I can't remember talking to you for the last few weeks!"

"Really? You don't remember, perhaps I should remind you!" I said angrily, I was about to start listing off what she did when I thought, it isn't worth it. "You know what? if you wanna know what you did, ask around!" I said as I stormed away from her and out of the lockers.

I choose not to have recess or to sit with my friends. Instead, I sat on a empty bench near the cafeteria. What am I going to do? I thought as I crossed my arms, what am I going to do? Then it hit me. Who cares if the whole school knows about my powers? I thought as let out a sigh. I looked down to my right hand.
A blue glow appeared, then I smiled and looked up to the sky. "My life has gotten pretty interesting hasn't it?"
