Chapter 1 One Slushy To Change It All

My life, for a lot of it I didn't know what my purpose was. It didn't make much sense until one day, when everything in my life changed...

It all happened at the cafeteria, I was having lunch with my two best friends, Izzy and Gwen. Izzy has black wavy hair and brown eyes, she's a bit thin but she doesn't mind, Gwen has red curly hair and blue eyes, she's also pretty thin too. We were eating our lunch when Chloe, one of the most popular students in the school came to our table, she has long blonde hair that dangled over her shoulders, she has the bluest eyes I have ever seen, she has an hour-glass body which make her look more like a supermodel than a student.

"Hey Sonya, How Are You Going?' She Asked Me with the biggest smile on her Face. "Umm... I'm good" I said, looking very strangely at her. "Look, I know we haven't gotten along in the past few years so I want to make it up to you" she Said, Still with the big smile on her face. "And how are You Going to do that?" I asked her, sounding curious. She put a slushy down on the table near my lunchbox, "I bought you a slushy, I hope this proves to you that I want to be your friend" She Said Cheerfully. "She Turned Around and went back to her table.

Izzy and Gwen Looked at me strangely, then they looked down at the slushy. "That Was So Weird" Said Gwen who took a glance at Chloe's Table. I Shrugged, What could possibly be wrong about a slushy? Boy Was I Wrong.

I Grabbed the Slushy, and Began Drinking it, it had a weird Taste, it tasted kind of like ice mixed with raspberry. When I Finished Drinking It I Put the Empty Cup down and looked at Izzy and Gwen, They Looked at me like I was the Weirdest Thing, then I heard some people laughing, I kept glancing around, some of the People who we're laughing we're pointing in our direction, They we're laughing at me!

I Turned Back To Gwen and Izzy, I looked at them strangely, "What?" I asked them, trying to figure out why on earth we're they laughing at me, Gwen Grabbed a Mirror from her bag and gave it to me, what I saw in the mirror, was horrible. My Hair, My Long Brown Hair which was shoulder length, was down, my hair was now a grayish white. I Put My Hands through My Hair, No, this can't be happening.

I wanted to scream, I wanted To Cry, but I Just looked around Seeing who was laughing, Everyone, everyone was laughing, except Gwen and Izzy, I saw Chloe who had seen everything was laughing the hardest, she looked like it was the funniest thing.

It Reminded Me about Carrie, how Carrie's Mum told her that they we're all gonna laugh at her, and it turned out it happened anyways, that's how I felt. "Did You Really think I would be your friend?" I Heard Chloe Say in a horrible ugly voice. I covered my eyes, I was humiliated in the worst way possible.

I Rushed Away From the Canteen, I could hear Izzy and Gwen call out to me to come back, but I ignored them. I continued running until I got to the girls Toilet. I walked up to the taps and Looked at myself in The Mirror.

My skin had turned pale, I looked Like a Vampire almost, my Lips a Dark Purple. I began sobbing quietly.

How Could She Do This? I Thought, How Could She make me Look like Some kind of circus Freak? I turned On the Taps on, I was still looking in the mirror. I Put My Hands under the tap, I noticed something, I Hadn't Felt the Water, I Looked down, The water... it had turned to ice.
