I sat up quickly and my eyes widened in horror as I realized I was not in my bed. Not at all. Birds were chirping around me and I found my self looking at two figures and a large tower.
"Where am I?" I screamed. A man stepped forward and I narrowed my eyes at him. He looked familiar. "Where am I? What am I doing here? Did you kidnap me?"
"My name is Merle Ambrose. I am the headmaster of the Ravenwood School of Magical Arts." He said in a hoarse voice I know I've heard somewhere.
"I don't care who you are, I want to know-did you say magic?"
"We're expecting great things from you. By first things first..."
"Great things from me? You've got to be joking. This isn't funny!" I yelled at him but he ignored me. I angrily walked up to him but he stopped me with his staff.
"My owl friend would like to speak to you. Please go to him." The man called Merle said in an all too cheery voice.
"Your owl friend?" I turned to see an owl with glasses and a graduating cap a few feet away and I cautiously walked over to him, looking back at Merle continuously as to make sure he didn't try anything. "Um, hi." I said to the owl.
"Hellooo!" I screeched as the owl actually began to talk. "My name is Gamma the Owl, and I am quite pleased to meet yoooou!"
"What the fuck!" I said loudly.
"Wizards test their skills by summoning fantastic creatures and dueling!" Gamma continued. "To become a master wizard, you must learn every spell in your class."
"But-but, I hate learning!" I whined, wondering why I wasn't more worried. I didn't know where the hell I was and why the heck owls could suddenly TALK!
"Wizards love to duel! The more spells you learn, the better a duelist you will become." The owl finished. Suddenly it began to rain. Thunder and lightning crashed in the sky and I noticed a shadow in the tower. "Whoooo?!?" Asked Gamma the owl.
"How odd!" Merle said.
"How odd? It started to fucking rain out of little no where and birds are still chirping!" I said to him, but once again, he ignored me.
"Come along, young wizard. Let's investigate the matter! Meet me in the tower!" Merle began walking to the tower.
"No way I'm going in there. I want to go home!" I cried.
"Youuu'd best follow the headmaster. Youuu're safe with him!" The talking owl said and I felt a sudden urge to go into the tower.
I groaned, running to catch up with Merle as I entered the large building. It was somewhat haunting inside. The room was lit with candles and many strange books filled the bookshelves all around the room. A man that looked like a cross between Voldemort and Jafar stood off to the side.
"Who's there? Malistaire!!!" Merle gasped.
Malistaire sneered. "Ambrose."
"Wait a minute." I said, the pieces finally clicking into place. "A talking owl named gamma, wizard, magic, and headmaster Ambrose? It can't be! I'm stuck in wizard 101!" I yelled, but the two men ignored me once again. "Helllooo?! Freaking out over here!" I waved at them but the didn't even glance in my direction.
