Chapter 9:

Nash's POV

Taylor walked in our room frustrated I asked him what's wrong and he said, "I just literally said I love you to Mackenzie and she didn't say it back she says she was "confused" with her feelings." Dude you have only known her for like two weeks now she's probably just thinking things through or she was in shock. " I feel kind of bad though because I left her in the room with tears running down her face. Taylor explained. Well that was just a dick move bro. Taylor looks down at the floor and walks into the bathroom to take a shower. I have to admit Mackenzie is really pretty and she has been a really cool friend so I took my chance and texted her to see if she wanted to have breakfast tomorrow morning. I looked at my phone and waited... I got a text back saying yes! She added a little smiley face at the end! Taylor cant be mad about this I mean its just two friends having breakfast together. I get ready for bed and jump under the covers on my phone I am looking at Mackenzie's instagram. I looked at her video's of her dancing and damn she was good. Taylor goes to lay down on his bed and looks at me "Why are you so happy?" He asks. No reason I responded. After that I fell asleep with a smile on my face.

Mackenzie's POV

I woke up and got ready for breakfast with Nash I curled my hair and put a plain white v neck t-shirt on with cut off jean shorts and a red flannel around my waist. I also wore my red hat that I got at the dance convention I wore it backwards just because it looks better that way. I check my phone and I have two new texts One from Nash saying " I walk by your door and come get you at eight thirty" I replied with "ok cant wait!" To be honest I like how I'm going to lunch with a friend I haven't done this ever since I have been on the tour. I checked my other text it was from Taylor he said, "Mackenzie I didn't mean to make you cry... I'm sorry" Wow you would think after what he said last night he would at least apologize to my face. I mean I cant believe how mad he got when I didn't say I loved him back straight away we have only been dating for about a week and a half. I just want to let him out of my mind and be with friends because I came on this tour because of Dance and that was what I was going to do. I hear a nock on the door, It's Nash. He says, " You ready?" I walk out with a smile on my face and said "Ready". Where do you want to go?, he asks. How about Old West Café that is my favorite breakfast place! I told him. "Old West it is...YEEEHAAA" he screams as we go down the hallway. We arrived at the restaurant and he ordered the omlet and I ordered the pancakes. Literally the whole time he asked me questions and I asked him questions. Nash is super sweet and has really pretty eyes. He told me about his brother Hayes and I told him about my brother. But then I told him what happened to mine and he looks at me and says, "I'm so sorry I would have never brought up Hayes if I knew about Nick" I said it was fine and we finish eating. We went back to the Hotel and I told him that I had a great time and he said "same" I waved goodbye and walk into my room. As I walk into my room Taylor is sitting on the bed. O yeah I forgot he had my spare key.
