Chapter 22

Mackenzie's POV:
I woke up and got out of bed. I changed into some jean cut off shorts and a obey crop top. I curled my hair and applied mascara. Then I walk out and Taylor was still sleeping. For some reason I was super hungry but I don't eat that much so I went downstairs and grabbed an orange. I sat down in the lobby looking through Twitter and Instagram. Everything stopped around me when I saw Spence walk through the hotel door. I tried to stay calm cause I knew if I walked away and up to my room he would recognize me. I stayed were I was trying to act normal. "M-Mackenzie? Is that really you?" Spence said. I looked up and I saw that tears were coming into his eyes. "What are you doing here" I said with a stern voice. "After I got out of jail I have to stay with my uncle in Florida. What are you doing here?" "You still didn't truly answer my question" I said. "I have a job interview for the hotel. Are you going to answer my question?" "Tell me why should I after what you have done to me and my family." "Mackenzie I am so sorry. I...I was drunk and-" "And What?! When your drunk do you just go around killing people! My brother is dead because of you. I don't have to answer you" I walk away outside to my car and I get in I put the keys in and drive to the closest police station. "Hello" the lady at the desk said to me. "Hi, um I would like to get a restraining order approved." "Sure thing, just fill out these forms saying who he is and why and we will look and his file to see if this is restraining order is needed." I filled out the forms and turned them into the lady and once she saw what I said about him and my brother on the form she looked at me. "Oh poor child I am so sorry for your loss." I sat back down and checked my phone Magcon started in two hours, I had plenty of time. There were 3 texts from Taylor.
T-"Where are you?, I cant find you anywhere., Mackenzie please reply I am getting worried."
I decided to text back
M- "Taylor I am fine I will be back soon."
He wasted no time to reply.
T- Be back soonJ
"Maim, Your restraining order has been approved we will send a police officer to deliver the message to the man." The lady said. "Thank you" I walked out of the building and got into my car. Since Emily is probably freaking out I went to Sonic and got her favorite drink, Cherry lime-aid. I got a Dr. Pepper too. I drove back to the hotel. The cop was there and I was relieved I walked passed the lobby without a care in the world then I was tackled from behind. "Don't ever scare me like that again." It was Taylor. "Yes." I said. "Yes what?" "I will go to Indiana with you". A smile went from ear to ear on his face. "I thought about something else too." He looked at me with a confused face. I crashed my lips into his. He wasted no time kissing back I wrapped my arms around his neck and his hands were on my waist. I pulled away with a small grin on my face. I missed his kiss. I looked back and saw Spence starring at me. "What is that shithead doing here." "Working but don't worry when I was out I was getting a restraining order. He cant hurt me." Another bell man walked up to me saying, "This is a note from Spence." I thanked him and he walked away. I look at Taylor and his jaw is clenched. I open the note.
"Mackenzie, I wanted to say I am so sorry I know you will never forgive me but I just want you to know I am truly sorry. I never wanted to hurt you I loved you. Heck I still do. I don't blame you for the restraining order either. If I was in your shoes I would probably do the same thing. I see you found someone who makes you happy. I am truly happy for you. I hope he loves you Mackenzie cause you deserve all the love in the world. No words can describe how much I am sorry or how much I love you. Maybe one day you will forgive me. -Spence."
I look up with a tear in my eye. Taylor takes the note from my hand and reads it. He looks up and looks at Spence and gives one head nod. I guess that means he wont be bothering me anymore. Taylor and I intertwined hands and we walked to the Magcon conference center. I walked over to Emily and Taylor walked over to the guys. "Have you taken the test again?" "Yes," She looked at me with a relieved look. "False alarm." I gave Emily the biggest hug I could. "That's great Emily." Emily and I decided not to dance this time but we still went on with the guys. We were doing a question answer with the fans. I sat next to Taylor and Emily sat with Cameron. We were all happy. Nash chose the first few girls they were all questions for Hayes, Matt, and Carter. Then the next girls question was for me. "Are you dating or like any of the boys?" I looked at Taylor. "She is dating me" Taylor raised his hand. "If you send hate I wont forgive you!" he said. He kissed me on the cheek after he said that. Magcon was over and Taylor wanted to go to the beach so I changed into my turquoise bikini. I drove my car to the beach everyone else was going to meet us there. I got out of the care and immediately went to the chairs and tried to get a tan. Then I felt water fall all over me "What the fuck?!" "You should get in the water I mean like your already wet" Taylor said with one eyebrow raised and a smirk on his face. "Really you think I am that easy to persuade." "Well I did persuade you to come to Indiana with me in less than a day." "Fine I take it back then. I will go back to California with Emily maybe se some cute guys fall in love have sex and get married and never go back to Magcon again." I said with a smirk on my face. "Ok well you will be missing out on all of this." He points up and down his whole body. Everybody else then arrived and saw us. I walked up to Emily saying, "Taylor thinks I am easy to persuade lets tease him." I told Emily everything about what I said about going back to Cali and finding guys and such. All they guys were in the ocean and Emily and I walked in. "Mackenzie what happened to that guy you dated Cole, He comes from a wealthy family and he was really good looking?" I look at Taylor with his fist clenching. "No Emily what about the guy at our old school Hayden, he was perfection on legs. "Uh Mackenzie that guy that your talking about he is right behind you." I looked up and sure enough there was Hayden James on the beach. I looked at Emily and we started walking up to him. "Hayden do you remember us?" Emily said. "Emily...Mackenzie? What are you guys doing in Florida?" "We are apart of a tour we dance on what about you?" "My sister is here to see a bunch of social media guys. On a tour...o god what's the name...? Magcon!" he explained. "O my god that's the tour we dance on!" I guess I will be seeing you tomorrow as well then." "Yeah, Em and I will be going back to California for two weeks so we should meet up." Cameron called Emily over back into the ocean. Cam was standing next to Taylor still with a mad look on his face. "Mackenzie can I have your number?" "Yeah!" I typed my phone number into his and sent myself a text so I had his number. "Ill see you tomorrow" we said goodbye and I went back into the ocean. "he asked for my number." I said to Emily knowing Taylor was right there. "Mackenzie may I talk to you for a moment." Taylor said pulling me aside. "What?" "We just got back together this morning and you gave some guy your phone number?" "First of all I have known him forever second I was trying to say I'm not easy to persuade." "Fine your hard to persuade. You are hard to keep in reach so stop trying to get out of mine." He quickly pulled me in for a kiss. "Fine but on one condition" "What?" "Go under water and I will show you." He went under water and so did I pressed my lips against him and started to grind my hips up and down his body. We both went up for air. "Holy... Come with me." He walked me up to the shore and went to one of the private huts. I walked in and he slammed his lips into mine I grabbed a hold of his hair and he picked me up by my legs. I started to do what I did in the water. He moved from my mouth down to the soft spot on my neck. He sucked on the skin not too hard but not too soft either. I was still on his hips and he was just sucking on my neck. I pulled away when he kind of bit my skin. "Alright we have had enough fun." I look at the mirror on the side. "shit" I said under my breath. "What?" Taylor said then he saw the huge hickey he gave me. "Your just lucky some of my hair covers most of this. If it didn't oh you would be dead right now." I say to him. "Well that shows everyone that your mine." I roll my eyes and walk out of the hut and go towards my things. I grab my clothes phone and keys "Where are you going?" Taylor asks me. "back to the hotel I have to pack before my flight after Magcon tomorrow." "Ill come with you" "Fine but I play my music." He raised his arms up in surrender. "I got into the car and started to drive out. "O lets get some food I am starving." He said. I pulled into Chick-fil-A and I pulled through the drive through I ordered his food and drink and I just got a Dr. Pepper. "Why don't you get something to eat?" "I'm not hungry." "Oh what did you eat for breakfast?" "orange" I said. "MACKENZIE YOU HAVE TO EAT!" "I do don't worry" "Really all three meals" "well no-" we pulled up to the counter. "Hi could I actually have another 6 pack of nuggets too." Taylor said to the man. "Sure that will be 10.35." He gave us the bags and the two drinks. "I hate you" I say as I drive off. "no you love me you have proof on your neck." He chuckled. We got to the hotel and we walked to my room. "So are you coming to Indiana?" "Give me one good reason" "Because I love you." "Not good enough" "because you are the most humble person I know." "keep talking..." "because anyone who gets to know cant live without you for a whole two weeks." He said. I got to a stop light and looked him in the eyes. "I will go if you except my challenge" I said with a giggle. "What might that challenge be?" he asked. "You cant kiss me or anything until we get to Indiana." "Huge challenge but I accept if it means you never leave my side." We finally got back to the hotel I went up to my room and packed my bags. I left out some clothes for tomorrow. Taylor made me eat the chickfila we got earlier. I hope he doesn't do anything like this in Indiana
