Chapter 1:

Mackenzie's POV

Mackenzie wake up!! Is all I hear when I wake up with the not so smooth voice of my friend, Emily. You can sleep in the car she says. Emily and I have been waiting for this for months we got tickets to a dance convention.

We got the tickets for our birthdays because we are only three days apart we both turned 17 this year. This dance convention is at a hotel it is suppose to be really packed because another event is going on. I'm not quite sure what but who cares I'm going to a dance convention. I put on my crop top with my high-wasted leggings and put a jean flannel around my waist with my supra high top shoes. I curled my hair as well. In a dance convention you want to stick out. I was ready to dance. Emily and I couldn't stop talking about the convention the whole ride there. Apparently there is going to be Justin Timberlake's choreographer to teach us a class. Justin Timberlake is my favorite artist. We get there and see all these huge signs for something called Magcon? Other signs following that with peoples names on them like... Taylor Caniff, Cameron Dallas, Nash Grier and so many more names. Who the heck are they? Emily said. I have no clue I replied. When we walked into the hotel we saw a bunch of screaming girls for what ever this magcon thing was. We finally got to our sign that said, "Dance Convention this way" We followed the sign that took us to the hallway and it stopped at our room. We started our classes. The first teacher was someone named Chris Stewart; he was a amazing dancer and teacher. All of a sudden Emily pulls on my shirt and points to these two guys trying to sneak in. One of the guys has a camera in his hand and the other had shaving cream. I was thinking "What the Hell?" The two boys got to the side of the stage and sneaked up behind the teacher and yelled, "Smack Cam" and they smacked the teacher hard with shaving cream in there hands. The teacher got furious and called security but these two boys had there own body guards. They were apart of this magcon thing and I bet that they were the reason there were screaming girls in the lobby. Holy Crap they are so fucking immature Emily and I said to ourselves. Once Emily and I were done with that class in was lunchtime. Instead of eating lunch we practiced for our audition and if we won this audition we get a huge prize. While Emily and I were practicing then the same two boys who slapped the teacher interrupted us. I rolled my eyes as they said, "Hey you guys are really good dancers." I said back, " Hey you two are the ones who fucked up our first class." Emily started to laugh. Hey don't you guys know why we did that? The boy with the tan said. Do you know who we are the boy with the bandana on his head said? No, Emily and I both replied. The look on his face as if they was super shocked "I'm Taylor" said by the boy with the bandana. "And I'm Cameron" the other one said looking at Emily. Well we will see you in auditions they both said. I put my arm out in shock. Wait why will you two be in auditions you're not in the dance convention I explained to them. Yes, but the prizes are that you would be coming on the Magcon tour and preform each time and since we are apart of Magcon we are your judges... the bandana boy said with a smirk. I rolled my eyes and put my hand down. They smiled rocking back and forth Emily walks away to her bag to get water and the Cameron guy follows. So I am left alone with bandana boy. Him still smiling "what?" I asked him. Nothing... your just... really pretty. I rolled my eyes and look over Emily is crossing her arms and making her flirty face. I couldn't believe it... she thinks he is hot. Taylor leaned over and said, " Yeah he saw her when we walked into the room about to smack cam the teacher, he told me that he thinks she is really hot." Yeah well she is falling for him too, I say back. Then I look at him and he his starring at me weirdly and I say " See ya bandana boy". He raises his voice as I walk away and said, " My name is Taylor if you didn't hear before". I walk over to Emily and pull her away and said we have to practice. She says ok and we start to practice again. As we were starting to practice Emily stops and says I like that Cameron guy how was your guy... waiting for my opinion I shrug my shoulders. Oh come on you are telling me that you didn't think Taylor was good looking or sweet? She looks at me. I replied and said I guess he's not half bad but we are not here for guys we are here for the dance convention. When the Audition starts we went in the categories that we danced in. I chose hip hop and Emily chose lyrical. We had to freestyle for the first part so I did a back flip and popped my arms and legs and then did a head spin. The whole time that Taylor guy was looking at me. When Emily when she did great she did her Ariel and Cameron was looking at her the whole time. For the second portion we had to do our choreography I got all the steps and so did Emily. After that round they were giving out two prizes to go on that tour. In a way I wanted to go but in another way I didn't because I don't want Taylor to stare at me. When they announced the first winner it was Emily! She hugged me so tight and went up on stage Cameron hugged her when she set foot on stage. The Second winner was announced my heart stopped for a second then my name was announced! I started walking towards the stage and Emily met me half way and we hugged each other. Emily was crying happy tears Taylor is still up on staged and mouthed good job. I mouthed back thank you.
