I haven't gotten to edit my grammar yet, but I'll get to it sooner or later. I hope you enjoy this chapter :]
“Ever, how about Pierce drives with you to drop of your rental car, and we will get your room ready” Amber said, and I nodded.
“Thank you guys so much” I said.
“You are totally welcome,” Amber said and smiled, “Oh we also have someone living with us who is my best friend. She is crazy awesome.”
“Me and Ever should get to the rental place so we get home in time.” Pierce said and walked out. I followed Pierce and got into my rental car. Pierce had this gigantic truck and I followed him to the rental place. I handed the rental place the keys and walked to the truck. I was getting super frustrated with my dress, and the heels. Pierce got out of his car and helped me up. He got inside, and looked at the wedding dress.
“Can I take off these heels?” I asked.
“Yeah” He said and I ripped the shoes off. I relaxed and he started the truck, that’s when my phone was ringing.
“Hello” I answered and waited.
“Hey, I’m in the airport and I’m just wandering where you are in Florida?” Ash asked.
“No….No you are not coming to Florida and seeing me. Take your fiancé to her honey moon.” I said.
“She wants to go to Florida; Plus I have all your stuff so….” He said.
“Uhhhh……..Clearwater, Florida; Do you have my camera?” I asked.
“Yep,” he said and I could tell he was smiling.
“Did you find anyone cute?” He asked.
“Why should I tell you?” I asked.
“Because I’m your brother from another mother,” He said.
“You’ve wanted to say that haven’t you” I said.
“For the past hour” he said and I laughed.
“I got to go” I said and hung up, “sorry, my friend, fiancé, brother thing is taking his wife to her Honey moon in Florida and is giving my things.”
“He’s the guy that tricked you?” Pierce asked.
“Yeah” I said and I looked at me dress.
“We are home” Pierce said and got out of his truck. I got out, and looked at a giant two story house, “We have 5 people living with us, but now we have 6.”
He opened the door and I walked inside. Amber came running towards me, and grabbed my hand.
“I want you to meet my parents” Amber said and I walked into the kitchen to see…… my mom and dad. I felt my body pulling it self towards the door, and I ran. Fear was drilling itself into my blood and I just kept running. After about ten minutes of running I stepped into an alley way, and sat down. I was crying and crying. I kept getting flash backs of when I was a little girl. I was hugging my parents, I was waving goodbye, and I was looking out the window as my parents ran to the car. I buried my face into my hands and felt a soft gentle but firm hand touch my shoulder. I looked up to see Pierce looking down at me.
“They’re my parents.” I said and looked back down at my bare feet.
I felt his warm body sit down next to my cold body.
“The world is pain, and sometimes we don’t want to remain. But the stain of blood that stays on our clothes awakes us. So burn that pain that stains your heart, and dance around it like a wild child. So forget the feeling of the loneliness, and breathe the ashes that leave your heart. Runaway to the gold gates on cloud nine, and stay as long as you like. For I will meet you there, and don’t be scared.” Pierce read from the crinkled piece of paper that he took from his back pocket. There was great silence as I was trying to figure out what it all meant, “My brother wrote this for me the day he runaway. He died three days later because a car hit him.”
