The day passed by without any problem. I was glad to be in a place where I didn't have to run or hide from everybody except a weird creepy nerd guy who - I was SURE about it - was hiding something. I coundn't get out of my mind what I saw that morning, peeping out in the window to see those two talking who knows what about.

Yeah, now that I think of it, what the heck was that?

It was late afternoon and I was just entering that same swimming pool, still wondering about that. Not that I was jealous or something. If you're thinking this, please make up your mind RIGHT NOW.

As I was lost in my thoughts, I suddenly ran into someone.

"Uhm, sumima-" I said, but as I looked right to her because it was a girl, I couldn't help but go ape, point at her and yell"YOU!"

At that point she stared at me from head to toe with a raised eyebrow, attitude which actually made her look really snob and nasty, and then said: "Do I know? I don't think so. You're insignificant, by the way, so I wouldn't remember you anyway, I guess".

"I'm new" I replied drily.
"Oh, a kouhai. I see"
"I'd like to join the swimming club. Who is the captain?"
"I am" she simply said acting cool even though she was shorter than me. She wasn't even looking at me, but paying attention at her own hand, which showcased a fresh mani and a simple, little silver ring. I was getting nervous, but I supposed that wasn't the right time to yell at my senpai and future captain, so I kept my cool.

Why on earth was that cat guy talking to this bitch?!  I couldn't help but think.

I was introduced to the swimming team and they were all nice, friendly girls, but I just couldn't stand the captain.

She didn't even have the same swimsuit as us. While we had to wear simple dark blue swimsuits, she had a bright red one.

"I can because I am the captain" she explained with her hand on her chest in arrogance. I rolled my eyes.

"You. Yeah, newbie" she addressed me, as we were standing next to the swimming pool after practice. She went on talking for a while and our wet swimsuits were about to dry up.

"Yeah, so what?" I wanted to cut it short. Actually I also thought I'd be screwed if she asked me something she had been talking about because I wasn't listening to a word.
"Which style is your speciality?" she asked.
"I only swim free" I replied.
With her hazel eyes wide open, she locked her sharp gaze into mine.
"Me, too. Let's heat things up a bit with a challenge then" she grinned with her shark-like teeth.
"Okay", I shrugged. No way I was giving up nor looking away from her eyes.

All the girls started chatting and rumouring as we took our marks.
By the end of the challenge I knew why she was the captain of the team.
As we got out of the water, she was showing an arrogant smile.

My hair were still wet as I heavily stepped in the dormitory of the male academy with a towel on my head almost covering my whole face.
Kuroo was out of his door, still reading his book, but this time he was standing against the wall next to my door.

"Hey there" he said closing the book, as he'd been waiting for me. Then he approached me, removed the towel from my head and looked closely at my face. Much too closely.
"Piss off" I said calmly avoiding eye contact.
"You look pissed off" he ironically spoke, causing me to glare at him.
"Ne, what's the matter?"
"Nothing"
"That's a lie" he seriously stated looking with his deep dark eyes into mine.

It was a look I couldn't bear, so I looked away with a shiver, but I instantly replied to his question against my will, as he'd cast a spell upon me.

"I hate her" I purely said.
"But who is her?"
"Her name is Akane" I said and I blushed and pouted for the shame of having been defeated.
"Do you hate her because I was talking to her? I saw you this morning, you were looking at us through the window" he grinned "and that's why you're blushing!"
"WHAT? DON'T JOKE ON ME, I HATE YOU TOO. I COULD NEVER FALL FOR A JERK LIKE YOU!" I yelled and that said, I entered my room and abruptly closed the door.

The last things I could hear from him were a giggle and the words "Oh, and by the way she's my girlfriend. Good night, princess!"

I'M NOBODY'S PRINCESS! I though, as I started punching my own pillow.
