We go inside and settle down in the lounge.

"Who wants to play a game?" Kay asks holding up a bottle of pop and some glasses.

"What the drinking game, just non alcoholic." I ask looking at the bottle.

"Yeah, never have I ever." Kay says,

"Who's in?" She says  to everyone

Everybody nods there head and five minutes later we are all sat in a circle with full glasses of cola.

"Okay, Li why don't you start." Kay says.

"um, Never have I ever... done something illegal" Nobody drinks so we move on to Mason.

"Never have I ever... Kissed an Apple" he shakes his head in disbelief, if only he knew, oh wait he will.

Me, Kaila and Lianna all take a drink.

"C'mon,what's the story." Danny says to us.

"Kay, you tell it" Li says chuckling.

"Fine, Well it was year nine and we were all staying over at Missi' s, we were sat in her room watching Zoey 101 reruns and the one said you can tell a guy's a good kisser by the way he eats an Apple, well we all thought it was rubbish so Miss runs to her kitchen and comes back with this Apple, She tells Me to take a bite but I say it was for guys." Kay starts laughing so I continue from where she left off.

"So I said to her, 'fine, kiss it then' So for the rest of the night we kept passing around this Apple kissing it and it was a competition as to who was a good kisser." I'm laughing too now. So finally Lianna takes over.

"Well that was until Laila came in asking us why we were laughing at two in the morning so we explained and-" Li was cut of by Mason laughing.

"I bet she though you were all nutters." He said.

"No,she joined in, so there was all of us fourteen and eighteen years old kissing this Apple, it was so funny" Lianna finishes by laughing by that time all of us,including the guys are in hysterics.

"Ok...uh..Ok,My turn" I say through breaths.

"Wait, who won the competition?" asked Danny.

"Yours truly of course." I smile.

"I'm one lucky guy then." Nicci says wrapping his arms around my neck and pecking me softly on the lips

"ok,Never have I ever... Hit someone." I say.

No one drinks which I'm weirdly glad of.

"Ok, me" says Kaila.

"Never have I ever... Had sex with any body here." My eyes are like saucers.

Me and Nicci raise our glasses to our mouths.

Shit.

Kaila clears her throat.

Lianna and Mason are looking at each other sheepishly and also raise their glasses, as do....

Wait as do Toby and Danny.

This is getting awkward.

"What, are you for real!" Kaila cried out.

"Um.." is all we said.

"Seriously guys, I mean all of you,All Of You. Fml" She says getting up to grab a bag of crisps.

"So, moving on, Nicci." Li says trying to change the subject.

"Yeah, Never have I ever...."

The game continues for a good hour or two and before you know it it's midnight.

We all head up to our rooms, Nicci comes into my room that night and we fall asleep to each other whispering about who would be a better ruler of earth Morgan Freeman or Chuck Norris.

It was sweet, We were still best friends but it was better we had told each other how we feel.

"Morning students, Since today is your last day you can all relax and pack your things ready for tomorrow-just a warning the cars leave at seven am sharp.

Have a good day.

Miss Phipps."

Lianna read out the card and we all went about our own business.

I had packed all my stuff earlier this morning as had Nicci because I told him too. (I could get used to that)

"Kay,are you doing anything today?" I ask her whilst she's sat getting her breakfast.

"No,why?"

"Wanna go shopping in the little shops down the beach?" I ask her.

"Yeah,I actually need to get something for my mum" She says

"Just let me finish eating this and we can go" She mutters.

Ten minutes and two pancakes one bowl of cereal later we walk down the beach towards the little shops on the beach selling little knick knack items for tourists.

We mooch around for a bit when I see a familiar face.

"Laila?" I say in disbelief.

"Beanie!" She runs Over and pulls me into a big hug.

"Are you ok?" I ask.

"Yeah beans I'm good a little birdy told me you got your man." She grins widely.

"Yeah" I blush

"I'm happy for you hun, your meant for each other."

"When are you leaving?" I ask her.

"I'm over here for a while sorting out my case but I should be home in about a week or two."

"That's good Mum and Dad will be pleased to hear that."

"Miss Elliot Mr shields would like to see you now" A man say from behind a clothes rack.

"gotta go beanie, I'll see you soon" She pecks my forehead and then leaves in a jeep.

I pick up the things that I planned to buy for my family and pay for them at the till.

Me and Kay go back to the house to find everybody debating about Steaks(I think you know by now to just don't)

I pack my souvenirs-a mini surfboard for Dad, A magnet for Mum and a postcard for Laila (She collects them).

The hours pass quickly and before I know it I'm in Nicci's room and falling asleep in his arms.

My last day here.

As I said before.

I'm gonna miss this palace.
