So here you go, a long ass chapter to make up for the lack of updates. To be honest it's not as exciting but look out for hints (0_0). Onwards my brave children!

The orders were given by Lieutenant as to how we would run the course, each set of groups of two would run the course against a timer. Completing the course would give you a pass mark but of course the faster teams get the higher marks. I didn't know if I wanted to be an overachiever. I was nervous but then I remember that if I fail gym my entire system of credits would be corrupted, jeopardizing my future, so I rolled up my sleeves and tied my hair into a tight high ponytail. Shit just got real.

"Listen Braxton, I know we have our differences but can we set that aside for ten minutes?"

Cole was busy stretching and it seemed he was also just as competitive as Jordan and I are with games. I crossed my fingers hoping for the best.

"Yeah, I just hope your smoker's lungs doesn't slow us down." He snarled. I rolled my eyes and he cracked a big grin. I guess we were both on the same page with the importance of our grade.

"My lungs are fine, if anything that's weighing us down its your big ass ego- you know what I'm not even going to speak to you unless I absolutely need to." I needed to calm myself. Talking back to him isn't going to achieve anything. I turned my attention back to Lieutenant.

"Right, so starting off you're going to have to tiger crawl under this net, if you touch the net you lose marks." Lieutenant explained while Ms Humble and Mr Stroker stood on the side lines. I groaned when I saw the underneath was filled with wet mud. That meant we'd have muddy clothes dragging us down the entire course.

Like my life doesn't drag my down already.

"Once you're out of that, you step onto this platform and balance your way to the other side while walking on a cable tire, if you fall over you start again until you get it." Okay but why is this entire obstacle course filled with mud? Really original guys.

"Then through the tires, up the climbing wall onto the other side , twenty push ups on the floor. Enter into the snake pit. Once you're out you climb up onto the last platform, at the end one member will have to do a trust fall off the platform. Now learners don't drop your partner as it will result in an incompletion of the course."

Hold the fuck up. I'm not doing any trust falls with Cole Braxton. I'm going to end up in the hospital by the end of this. Although that would mean I wouldn't have to go back home to mother.

That's actually a really sad thought Sky.

"Great, let's start. Any volunteers?"

Everyone kept quiet and I didn't blame them. Who in their right mind would want to go up there first when everyone was watching you carefully. It was so easy to screw up and I can't handle that type of pressure.

"We'll go, get this over and done with."

All the organs in my body felt like they popped out of its right places when I traced that voice back to Cole.

Is he insane?

"No, Braxton what are you doing?"I hissed but he ignored me and pulled me by my arm instead. I know I said I wouldn't talk to him unless necessarily but this is definitely one of those situations. I wasn't ready for this.

Goodbye world.

Sky you dramatic bitch, relax.

"Okay, okay! Stop dragging me I'm coming." I huffed and roughly snatched my hand from his. He didn't show any emotion towards it, he just wanted to get this over with.
