First Day

Laya's Pov
Monday morning, god I hate Monday sooo much. I roll over and look at my clock annnd it's 6:30am really? Like I hate being half vampire because I hardly ever sleep but whatever I roll out of bed and leave me room to go check on Maven and wake her up. "MAVEN WAKE YOUR ASS UP WE ARE GONNA BE LATE !!" I scream " WHAT WHOO WHAT HAPPENED" she yells clearly disoriented I start to laugh " just kidding it's 6:35am but uhh wake up we have to shower and get ready for school" I said  " we don't have school till 8:30 and you choose to wake me up 2 hours early ?" She said sarcastically " Yup" I said popping the P. "UGHHH WHATEVER" she yelled while rolling out of bed I silently laugh and leave the room next up Jannick .

"Jannick wake up we have to start getting ready " I said while throwing a pillow at her " Really Laya ? I was half up already you know I wake up early no matter what " she said angrily "ayyy calm down wolfie just go shower and get ready. " I said calmly and she obeys . 

I walk into my room, pick out my outfit and put in my bed . I then walk to my bathroom and turn the shower on I began to clean myself wash my face and my hair and shave . Yes I have to shave remember I'm an animal and a human . 🤦🏽‍♀️. 20 minutes later I step out the shower and begin getting dressed

After getting dressed I go in my bathroom and brush my teeth, after that I begin to apply some eyeliner and mascara with some matte red lipstick . I brush my hair out since it's curly and let it just poof out into my wild Afro curls . And begins walking downstairs soon after Maven came down

"Looking cute bestie " I said while eating an apple "thanks baby cakes she says smiling while grabbing a granola bar " you look nervous Mave are you okay ? " I asked "yea just new school new people but I'll be okay" she said to me with a reassuring smile "Alrighhht " I said sending a smile back. Soon after Jannick came down

"Well somebody's a bit cheery this morning " I said laughing "well yea I see this as a new start for all of us I just want us to be happy this year" she said simply " you're right " Maven said smiling "yeaaa I don't want to repeat my past"  I said looking down they both immediately hugged me " everything is going to be okay Lay he's not here he doesn't know where we are" Jannick said giving me a reassuring smile.
"Alright ladies it's 7:20 so let's head out " Maven said not sounding happy at all . We walk out of our mansion and Jannick and I got in my pink Lamborghini while Maven hops in her Jeep.  And we are off to school I guess ...

After 10 minutes we finally arrive at the school, everyone begins to stare at Jannick and I as we walk to the front and wait for Maven . She finally arrives after a few minutes " We are officially Juniors" we all said in unison . Everybody still has their eyes fixated on us but mainly me god this is gonna be interesting. . I thought to myself the girls went to find their classes while I went to go find my locker . I couldn't open the lock so I just broke it fuck it I got nothing to hide while I was putting my stuff away a group of people walk past I see two boys that look a like 2 girls and 3 boys behind them but only one stands out I continue to look... he was the taller twin hazel eyes he had a mole on his chin. He looked like a god if I do say so myself I continue looking when a girl shoves me against the locker "Uhm rude can I help you ?!?! " I yelled " don't even think about getting anywhere near Grayson HES MINE" she yelled "if you don't get your mutt paws off of me you'll be dead in a second ." I demanded she laughed well she has it coming instead of letting my inner werewolf or vampire come out I started chanting in my head she immediately let go and began grabbing her head while I continued the boy and his pack came running towards me I sent them a look like bitch your next if you come any closer they backed off and I stop " DONT YOU EVER THREATEN ME" I said she immediately crawled away "hey Grayson " I said smiling he looked at me " how do you know my name ? " he said angrily "your little girlfriend said your name and learn to control your muts " I said smirking . I continued to walk away and head to my first class History great like I don't know enough about history I walked into class and all eyes were on me . I'm so mad my best friends have no classes with me besides lunch. I took an empty seat in the back I took my notebook and pen out and waited for class to start.

Right as the bell was about to ring the other twin came in great just great . I shook my head and looked down till he was standing in front of me . " hey I'm Ethan " he said " uhh hi I'm Laya " I said still looking down " what you did to Lindsey wasn't okay my brother and I don't take threats lightly " he said towering over me . I finally looked up and said " well next time tell your mutt to not just attack somebody for just looking in that direction. " I spat back at him " who do you think you are " he said slightly laughing "I'm Laya Garner that's who I know I am and DO NOT test me " I said standing up " Wait, Nate Garners sister ? " he questioned " yea why?" "So your a vampire ? Yet you were able to do some witch craft on one of my wolves " I began to smirk " well I guess you'll just have to find out yourself " I said I sat back down as the bell rang and the teacher came in and began to tell us the rules of the class and the consequences if we break them. God this class will be the death of me literally.
