Layas pov
It was finally lunch, I have to admit after processing everything about Grayson being my mate I've accepted it. The only thing that would really get in the way is my psychotic ex boyfriend and his girlfriend... it's like every time I try to make something work they come in between that other person and I . And im tired of that they will not be coming in between my mate and I . I will fight till I die. While in mid thought I felt a tap on my shoulder and I turn around and see Grayson
"Hey gray" I said smiling up at him " are you okay ? I screamed your name a few times and you seemed distracted.." he said nervously scratching the back of his head " y-yea I'm fine I was just thinking but what's up?" I simply said " well, I wanted to know if you could come to my place ? " he said nervously laughing " uhh what about your little friend " I said pointing to Lindsey who is currently staring at me, he turned to her and growled and she quickly turned away. " don't mind her beautiful remember I'm yours, and your my mate not her" those words made me blush more than anything I nodded my head in response " thank you baby girl" he said "anything babyboy " I responded I quickly gave him a hug and he picked me up, as he put me down he kissed my nose causing me to let out a slight giggle.

As I began to turn around I said blonde hair coming at me Lindsey of course she'd get jealous, she quickly tackled me and we began to fight we were she was on top of me trying to scratch my face but she couldn't get to my face. I used all my strength and knocked her off of me and stood up " WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU PSYCHO " I yelled " HES MINE NOT YOURS, you think you can just waltz right in here because your the fucking Queen and take MY MATE" she said " Correction you psychotic jealous bitch he's actually my mate, why do you think he acts the way he does with me ? " I said smirking " your dead" she said simply and with that she tackled me again .

She began scratching my body, this girl was trying to kill me ! I immediately turned into my true self . I threw her into the mall, by this time everyone didn't know how to react shocked ,frightened , turned on you name it that's what everyone's emotions were in the cafeteria. I then started punching and kicking her till I felt arms wrapped around me I instantly calmed down and saw Grayson. Ethan ran to pick up Lindsey who was bleeding pretty badly, " Don't you ever come at me again" I said looking at Lindsey she looked up with anger in her face and began walking off with Ethan. " Babe, are you okay ?" Grayson said " yea just a few cuts nothing I can't handle " I said smiling at him " I'll have a talk with Lindsey don't worry " he said while cupping my face " it's nothing gray" I said " no Laya you are the queen you can't get treated like that and you are my mate I'm the alpha she can't treat our future Luna that way ." He said sternly " alright babe handle it your way but I'm starving " I said giggling " then let's go eat beautiful " he said smiling . He took my hand as we got online everyone was asking me so many questions eventually after me not responding they just left me alone . But I can't forget I'm meeting Grayson's pack today.
Grayson's pov
I can't believe Lindsey we've been broken up for a while now and she really just tried to kill MY MATE! . She used to be this amazing girl who loved everybody and tried to protect everyone she cared or loved. But ever since Layas came here it's like it's all about her she wants to be my mate but she isn't yes I love her but I'm not in love with her. I'm guessing our break up wasn't enough she's going to have to respect Laya as our queen and my packs soon to be Luna . I can't protect my pack when in every moment I have Laya and Lindsey in a room together Lindsey attacks her like a girl on her period when she just gets her food taken away from her ( #relatable) . But first I have to take care of my baby girl and make sure she's okay I took her to get her lunch and honestly everyone asking questions was annoying but knowing I had Laya on my side kept me calm. Hopefully it'll be like this later .

Lindsey's pov
I can't believe Laya really thinks Grayson's her mate ?!?? He's my fucking mate I cannot lose Grayson . I know we haven't been together for a while now but NO. Nobody knows what secret Grayson and I have hidden I was once pregnant with Grayson's baby, but I had a miscarriage we were young and dumb but after I had my miscarriage our relationship went downhill . That's the whole reason we broke up he went out and did what he wanted while I was at home crying myself to sleep. I had nobody to make sure I was okay but I was and will always be in love with Grayson . HES MINE. I don't care what I have to do to get him and get Laya out of the picture she has to have skeletons in her closet too. I am going to do EVERYTHING to make sure she doesn't end up being our Luna . I am the real luna .

After Ethan cleaned me up I immediately left school, i got into her emergency papers in the schools office and found an address 123 wicked ave .. wait that's the witch ward ? What was she doing living with a witch ?... after 20 minutes I finally arrived at the address and knocked on the front door . When a girl opened the door " May I help you?" The girl said " I'm Lindsey I seen you were on the emergency contact lists of Laya Garners" I said simply " oh well I'm Tuva her ex best friend" she said . She invited me in and we sat down in the living room " so your werewolf " she said smirking " h-how did you know ?" I asked curiously " I'm a witch I'm not stupid, now what do you want to know about Laya?" She said annoyed " how do I get rid of her ? She claims the guy I'm in love with is her mate but he's mine and I won't stand bye and let my mate be taken away from me " I said angrily " Calm down wolfy, you can't she's un killable but I do know a way to scare her" she said smirking " How" I said almost yelling and with one simple word she said " Jack and Miral " I immediately thought who the hell is jack and Miral ?
