Lying his back on the tree, he took a deep breath. They had been meeting each other for quite some time now. Gradually they had both started to open up to each other, understanding one and another.
Running his fingers through his hair, he felt conflicted. Was it the right time to reveal to her, or would she get upset instead? Would she understand, or not?
A million questions swirled around his head. Lost in his thoughts he didn't realize the girl's presence. Frowning, he reached for something stuck on his forehead. As the girl giggled at his confused expression.
'Hoseok, you alright there~? XD'
'Yeah~! Sorry, I was just thinking~ How are you~?'
'That's alright~ I'm fine thank you~! Yourself~?'
'I...
He didn't know how he was. Confused, nervous, doubtful, guilty... many emotions began to consume him.
'I'm good too thanks~'
'You sure..? You don't look so well...'
'D-Do you wanna listen to my song...?'
'Your song..? Now? I-I'd love to~'
Slowly he took his headphones off, and handed them to the girl smiling warmly. Cheeks slightly pink, she placed them over her ears.
Soon her smile faded into a blank yet confused expression. There was nothing but silence. Nothing could be heard. She looked over at the boy and gestured to the headphones, shaking her head. The boy smiled softly.
'I'm sorry I didn't mention it earlier, I was afraid how you would react. But since we've become more close, I think it's only right to tell you now. I-I'm... deaf.'
