'Hey Hoseok~!

I don't really know how to say this since it's my ah... first time... saying this to anyone... I wanted to say that I like you... at first it was just a crush but the more I got to know you, the more butterflies I could feel in me grow. I thought this feeling was just some sort of allusion. But the more we got to know each other you made me feel warm and happy, that's when I knew I was wrong.

Just the two of us sitting in silence or exchanging sticky notes. I didn't realise how much I started to love these moments, those random things we'd 'talk' about. When I found out you were deaf, yes I was quite shocked but I didn't care. You being deaf doesn't mean your not the same Hoseok or any less than anyone else.

I guess what I'm trying to say is... I love you, Jung Hoseok.

I love everything about you. I love your shy yet warm smiles. The way you'd look out into the distance. How immersed you were into a novel. And how just your very presence brings me at ease.

I don't care if your deaf. Your still you. The same Jung Hoseok. The person who stole my heart. M-My first real love...

Hoseok.... I-I love you...~

The boy felt like a load of bricks had just toppled over him. He felt awful, how could he have not seen this coming... how could've he been so oblivious...

Breathing heavily, he quickly wiped a tear and rushed his fingers through his light brown hair. Only to have been interrupted by a hand placed on his back. Quickly he hid the notes into his pants pockets.

The girl frowned at him handing him a sticky note.

'Hey Hobi... are you okay~?'

He smiled softly and nodded, as he clasped his girlfriends hand. Trying to deter her attention from the suspicious neon pink notes he gently pulled her to him, as they both walked away.

Whilst Hoseok slowly scrunched the notes in his pocket, letting it fall to the ground, remorse washed over him...

He was already taken, and he didn't mention her at all.

He already had a special person, but didn't say who she was.

He was oblivious of her feelings, and left her shattered and torn.

He already had someone who had accepted and loved him, yet left her in tears and confusion.

Spring, the season of growth and unexpected love.

Perhaps this spring wasn't one of them, but of broken hearts instead...
