A few good minutes had passed since she had arrived, though he hadn't arrived yet. Sighing she continued to read her textbook.

After some time the boy made his way, giving her a small smile he sat down taking out his novel to read. She smiled back warmly, looking back to her book, not wanting to seem obvious that she had been waiting for him. Slowly she looked up again, his eyes still glued to his book.

She breathed in heavily, before speaking up, "Hello~ it's nice to see you again," she looked at the boy smiling. The boy glanced up from his book and smiled softly as he pointed to his ears which were occupied by his headphones. The girl laughed softly and nodded, "Ah right... sorry," before looking back down at her textbook.

They sat next to each other in silence, as each of them were busy in their own world. However, it wasn't an awkward silence which lingered between them, but a comforting one instead.

At times the boy would look up watching his surroundings and the small children playing in the distance, as his lips would curl up. Looking around his eyes fell upon on the girl who was reading and studying her work. There were a few instances where their eyes would meet each other's but they'd quickly look away, both shy of the other.

Marking his page, he decided it was time for him to head back home. Standing up he stretched a bit, looking down at the girl who was glancing up at him. Both exchanged a smile, before he waved at her and made his way down.

The girl watched the boy until she couldn't see him anymore.

"Would we... perhaps meet again...?"
