I should be worried

"I'm sorry babe, I just had to win this time," Ky teases Jay while sticking out her tongue. Jay pushes her face from hers as Ky tries to tackle her with kisses. Nyla giggles at their behavior and latches on to my arm. I smirk as I prepare myself to rub our victory in her face.

"I guess you didn't suck that much," Nyla giggles glancing up, beating me to the chase with those chocolate eyes.

"You weren't bad yourself, so art gallery huh?" I question as she rolls her eyes in defeat and nod.

"Great, and I'll still come to your volleyball thing, only if you want?" She nods while smiling.

"Yes, I want you to meet my friends, well they want to meet you but still," she states. Hm, the friends wants to meet me? That's pretty awesome but I wonder why they want to meet me. Like in what way? As a I'm dating their friend and I need to get "the talk" way or the "I'm the slightly famous model dating their friend which is unbelievable" way.

"Okay, it's a date. Me giving up the opportunity to see you in a bikini, can't give up that."

"Me seeing you in a bikini, in person, can't give up that," she mentions while slapping my butt playfully. I stare at her completely shocked and aroused by that sudden movement.

"So we're all going to grab burgers, wanna come?" Kelm questions.

"I actually have to get home, my prom is  tomorrow," Nyla states while pulling away from me. That caught me completely off guard. I stare down at her surprised. Her prom is tomorrow? Why didn't she tell me?

"Wow prom, can't remember when the last time I had one of those, congratulations," Kelm cheers while walking back over to the group.

"Prom?" I chuckle while stuffing my hands deep into my pockets. Well trying, my pants are a bit tight and my pockets aren't that deep. Fucking modernized skinny jeans.

"Yeah, wooo! An awarding party to early adult children letting them know that they are officially adults and have to go into the real world," she chuckles while going to play with her hair nervously. She twirls the thick lock around her finger, basically giving the curl her attention.

"Well-I-I didn't even know, who are you going with?" I question worriedly. I hope she says she doesn't have a date. Well not for me to swoop in and say, "hey I'll be your date", but for me to question the guy she's going with. I never went to prom nor had the regular normal teenage education. I started modeling at the age of 15, so I don't have that experience, but I know what happens for most teens all across America on prom night. I refuse to have some dumbass thinking he's going to get lucky that night.

"My friend Miles, he's my date," she states this skeptically, almost as if she knows I would have a thought against this. Even though I'm totally thinking, friend my ass. A guy is a guy and all guys want something.

"Hm, so did he ask or ya know?"

"He asked, I said yes," she shrugs.

"What time does your prom end?" And why the hell did I ask this? Maybe to call her and see did she make it home yet, she and her date didn't make any extra stops. She stares for a bit but then breaks out into laughter. I stare confusingly.

"Miles is gay Deck, so you have absolutely nothing to worry about. You don't have to be  J-E-L-L-Y ." She teases placing a kiss to my cheek. That same spot burns with heat as my cheeks heat up.

"I-I'm not jealous, I was just worried about your safety." She cheese real hard at me as I try to avoid her big eyes. Yeah, I was jealous.

"Yeah, sure. You sounded like a worried dad," she continues to tease.

"I should be worried," I groan under my breath and she doesn't catch it, thank you.

"I better head home, early day tomorrow."

"Okay, let me tell Ky I'm leaving and..." before I could finish, she shakes her head.

"You don't have to take me home, Mari said she doesn't mind dropping me off, seeing she has to drop Joe and Jay off." She shrugs and I frown, I really don't mind taking her home. Who wants to hang with these losers anyway.

"I can take you if you want," she shakes her head, again. I stare awhile longer before I place a goodnight into her forehead. "Call me later?"
I question and she nods, while smiling up at me, like a kid admiring their parent. She walks back towards where Mari and Joe talks, well the kid giggles and discuss what she's just experienced.

"Wait, what's your colors?" She stares confused for a while but then catch on.

"Crystal blue." Is that even a color, wouldn't it just be blue. They have so many different names for different shades of blue.

"So blue?" I question flatly and she shrugs.

"Why?" She ask curiously, a perfectly arched eyebrow raised.?

"Just curious, get rest though," I call out as she exits, trailing behind Jay, Joe and Mari.

We went to my very favorite restaurant spot, Ky chose it purposely—seeing that I can't get anything from it.

"Are you going to order anything?" Jack teases as she glances through the menu. Something's off with her, she's too exited and giddy and won't stay still.

"Yeah Deck, what are you getting?" I stare in the veggie burger section and see nothing but bullshit.

"Anyone up for buffalo wings?" Kelm adds, glancing at me and chuckling. His brown eyes, looking like pools of mud that I'll like to stomp in. We hold this glare for awhile. Oh how much I hate my sister and her friends.

"Oh, cheese sticks as our appetizer!!!" Joel cheers, like an 8-year old kid. Clapping his hands in the process.

"Okay guys, that's enough," Ky laughs out, almost spitting out her beer. She takes pride in her friends picking on me, it has always been this way. It doesn't bother me anymore because we're all grown adults, but sometimes it'll be good not to be the target upon this group.

"I swear I should have volunteered to take Nyla home!" I grunt out under my breath. I guess Kelm heard me mention her name.

"Speaking of Nyla, what's up with that?" Kelm ask taking a bite from the celery stick. Everyone eyes land on me. I glance at Jackie who doesn't pay attention and focuses on the menu.

"Uh well, we're taking things slow," I shrug. I guess they're waiting on me to elaborate more because they still stare.

"Tomorrow's her prom," I mention.

"Yeah, she told me that! I was a bit surprised, you're dating someone that young."

"Kelm, I'm fucking 19 years old. We're one year apart, you act as if I'm some old child molester," I growl out.

"Oh I forgot, you're still a pulp," he chuckles.

"Again, 19!" I yell out.

"Hey smartass, wanna yell even louder that you're 19 and consuming loads amounts of beer that you need to chill on," Ky groans out. I ignore her and take another swig from my beer.

"I have to use the bathroom!" I mutter out while rising and going to the bathroom.

I know they're messing around but sometimes I feel like they take it too far. Here I am struggling to stay on a healthy meal plan and they tease me. I hate having this as a profession. I swear I'm fucking quitting and becoming a person on the "Where are they now?" list.

I exit the stall and as I exit I'm pushed back on by someone forcibly. My back pressing against the toilet handle.
