a/n I swear it'll be funny, trust me doods. And you guessed it there's some (minor) sizzle.
We were currently on our way to pick up Y/n from the dentist's office, as she had just had gone under anesthesia for a procedure. Since her parents were out of town for business during filming, Jack & I stepped in to keep an eye on her so she gets better.
"Wait, Jaeden, is she gonna be all loopy and shit?"
I rolled my eyes at the oblivious boy.
"Yes, and?"
"She probably won't remember what you say to her, so you might as well confess."
"Jack. I know she doesn't like me like that, and even if she did, I'd want to tell her when she's aware of what's going on."
I've liked y/n since before filming.
When we had the initial cast meeting, she immediately came over and started talking to me. Right from the get go she was cracking jokes and being sarcastic.
We've been on a filming break for a while, and almost every night we'd stay up watching movies.
I'd always try to make my move on her, but I just couldn't do it. We flirted with each other quite evidently, but it never lead to anything.
"We're here!"
Walking into the room, I saw a laughing y/n sitting on a sofa.
Her eyes immediately widened at the sight of Jack and I.
"Oh my god it's Jack and Jaeden! Guys I missed you! I haven't seen you in weeks."
She got up in her loopy state and kissed Jack & I on the cheek.
"Y/n, love, we dropped you off this morning."
Jack said patting her shoulder.
She laughed and grabbed my hand, twirling herself around.
"I just wanna get out of here. I'm tired and I need a nap."
She wrapped her arms around my waist and rested her head on my chest, going from giddy to tired.
She was really cute when she was tired. The late nights we stayed up she'd start to fade and slowly fall asleep right next to me.
Although she just had a medical procedure done, and wore comfy clothes, she looked gorgeous.
Her cropped Calvin Klein tee and the sweatpants I let her borrow fit well over her small frame.
Once we got the all clear from the dentist, we piled back into the car, heading back to her house which we'd be staying in.
Jack called shotgun, which left y/n and I in the back.
She was quietly giggling to herself while playing with my fingers. I couldn't help but smile at how adorable she was. Sitting there with her was so peaceful, I wanted to stay like this for hours.
Unfortunately, my thoughts were put on pause when the car came to a stop. I opened the door for y/n, and she grabbed my hand and walked in with Jack and I.
We were sitting in her room, just chilling out.
The anesthetic had worn off quite a bit, so now she was only tired.
I was leaning against her headboard, while she was lying in my lap.
"Hey, Jaeden. I'm gonna go run out and get some dinner for us to eat. I should be back soon."
I nodded and y/n raised her head slightly.
"Thanks Jack. And Jaeden. For you know, dealing with my drugged up ass."
Jack giggled before walking out the door.
"Of course y/n. I couldn't leave you with just Jack, he would've left you here to fend for yourself!"
She sat up and looked at me seriously.
I was really scared; so many thoughts were running through my head.
Was she going to leave? Did she not want me here? Oh my god Jack drew on my forehead while I fell asleep. God I'm gon-
"H-hey Jaeden?"
Her voice came out shaky, making me wonder why.
"What's up y/n?"
I brought my hand up, tucking some loose strands of hair behind her ear.
This could be my chance.
"I really like you. The first day I met you was like a whole new perspective. And I don't know if it's the drugs talking or what, but I know for a fact that you, Jaeden Lieberher, are a very important person to me."
I was stunned. She liked me. I like her.
Go on you fucking idiot, tell her you like her!
I knew that I'd stammer, and then I'd be totally screwed over. So taking myself by surprise, I kissed her.
I placed her sitting in front of me, my lips still attached to hers.
Her soft hands made their way to the nape of my neck, giving me a sense of comfort.
I had my arms gripped around her small torso, not wanting the moment to end.
When we pulled away, I left small pecks from her jaw to her neck.
Our foreheads were rested against each other's when I realized.
"I like you too."
She kissed me softly, letting it linger.
"Hey guys I forgot my wal- OH MY GOD!"
