A first breath,A first cry.
But tick tick,
Time went by.
Little hands,
Innocent eyes.
But tick tick,
Time went by.
He jumped off the couch,
In attempt to fly.
But tick tick,
Time went by.
He joined a soccer team,
Thought he'd try.
And tick tick,
Time went by.
Almost gave up on his dreams,
I told him you can never reach too high.
And tick tick,
Time went by.
Tick tick,
He's become a man.
But tick tick,
Time still goes by.
Tick tick,
He married a beautiful wife.
But tick tick,
There goes time.
He lost his first child,
I could only watch them cry.
But tick tick,
Time left me asking why?
They have three kids,
They've begun their life.
He's living his dream,
And so am I.
For tick tick,
Time went by.
And his dreams,
Became mine.
And so tick tick,
Away went time.
And I thanked God for such a beautiful life.
My son taught me to love,
I taught him to try.
Life taught me through ticks,
And so I cherished time.
For tick tick,
Time goes by...
