It was about 10pm when Tim had finally worked everything out with my aunt. He said she was sobbing  of joy when he spoke to her.

I wasn't allowed to talk to her for some unknown legal reason or something, but I didn't care. I couldn't wait to see her, I couldn't wait to see them.

Luckily the airport was big af, so there were some hotel rooms attached above it. Tim worked it out with the airport officials (or whatever you call em'), and he was able to get me a room for free.

I slept there that night, well not really slept, but ya know. How could I sleep? I was too nervous and excited for the next few days to come, I couldn't get my brain to stop.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I woke up the next morning at around 6:15 am, not quite refreshed, but for sure ready to go. I went into the bathroom, washed my face, and took my hair out of the bun it had been in for the last 12 hours. The curls didn't look too bad so I left It down. I did my full makeup, which took about 45 minutes. And I pulled on high waisted denim shorts, a pale pink, tight, crop top, and a huge, flowy, gray cardigan.

I admired my reflection in the mirror for a minute, until I heard a knock on my door. I raced over to open the door, only to see Tim standing there with a smile on his face, "ready to go?" He asked, way too enthusiastic for 7am. "Uhhh. yea i think i have everything.." i double cheked my suitcase, and grabbed my phone and headphones for the flight.

On the way down to the gates, Tim explained to me step by step instructions of what to do when i get to my destination. "A diver will be waiting for you were you pick up your suitecase. Go with him, and he will bring you to the hotel where you will meet with your aunt at precisley 1:30pm."

We had reached our gate while i was finishing my thoughts, "But wait..." I started, but was cut off by the flight attendant calling a final boarding call. "How can i meet them at 1:30? Doesnt it take at least four hours to get to Virginia from here?" Tim puled me into the tightest hug ever, i flinched at the human contact i was recieving, but settled into it and hugged him back.

"Yea Alexandra, there has been some changes with your brother's schedual, you are meeting them in Los Angelos, California." He hesitated at the end, "what? w-what are they doing there??!!?!" I yelled, a little too loudly.

"youll see, now go get on your plane!" he waved me away, but once i started walking, i stopped and ran back to him. I wrapped my arms around him again for just a second, "thank you so much for everything, you changed my life."

A tear rolled down his cheek "Good luck kid." I smiled and waved, as a flight attendant lead me onto the plane, and closed the door behind us.

I took a deep breath as i settled down into my seat. This was it, the first day of the rest of my life.
