Step one- Mark your territory. Make it known he is yours and don't let anyone else have him. Go to extremes to make sure no one goes near him.
Step Two- go on lots of dates. If you go on lots of dates then he will think u are his girlfriend.
Step three- tell him. When you talk to people, introduce him as ur boyfriend.
Example- hey, best friend! Did you meet my new boooooooyyyyyyfrriieeeenddddd?
He won't make it awkward by saying he's not.
