Chapter 21:Sleep Is Important

"You promised you would spend the night in my room remember?"Nick said softly tucking a hair behind my ear and smiling.Gosh that smile.

"Mmmmhh"I mumbled but whispered so he could hear.

Me and Nick had been playing around in the pool for about an hour and I was now so tired my eye lids became heavy and Nick noticed,picking me up in bridal style.

My head rubbed against his bare chest and I got myself comfy in his arms.I felt so safe and happy like I had no worry in the world.

He chuckled and kissed my forehead as his fingers gently rotated in little circles on my wet waist.It set fire through my body and he heated up.

We dried off on the way upstairs.What can you say the weather in Mississippi just can't get better plus it saves me the energy of drying off myself when all I wanted to do was sleep.

He placed me gently on the bed like I was made of fragile glass and he was about to sleep on the couch in HIS room.

My eyes shot open even knowing they hurt from how tired I was.

I grabbed his arm.

"Excuse me mr where do you think your going?"I half whispered as he came closer to me.He chuckled.

"This is your room..."I breathed out looking at him with a 'if anyone's sleeping on the couch it's me'look.He bent down so his face was near mine.

"It's fine princess just go to sleep..."His fingers brushed my cheek and I stopped his hand on the side of my cheek with my hand and kissed it.

"Nick.."I whispered faintly with my tiredness taking over my body.

"Okay fine.."He whispered and kissed my cheek as he went around the bed and lay next to me.

He smiled and it made me smile.

"Good night princess"He whispered as his minty breathe hovered my lips and he kissed my cheek and smiled against it.

"Good night sweet cheeks"I mumbled whilst swinging my hand around his bare chest like he was a teddy.I could feel that smile he had on and he wrapped his arm securely around my bare waist and let it smoothly go up and down the side of my body to drift me off to sleep.

"I love you Nick..."I mumbled as I rubbed my nose against his neck because of how our position was.It seemed to make him heat up and his heart beat became faster against mine.

"I love you too..."He whispered faintly and I dozed off to some sweet sleep in his arms.

I woke up to no sun blinding me so I smiled widely,this day was going to be good..hopefully.

Nicks arms were still securely wrapped around me and he snored quietly and peacefully,gosh that's so cute.

I nuzzled his neck as I tried lifting his arm off of me so I could go have a shower.

I felt him vibrate next to me.Chuckling.

"Good morning to you too sweet cheeks"I smiled at him and placed a soft peck on his cheek.

"I could get used to waking up like this"He smiled which came to his infamous smirk.

I rolled my eyes at him but smiled and was about to get up but he grabbed my wrist and swung me onto him.

"That's all I get?"He frowned and put on his puppy eyes which I could never lie or refuse too.

I smiled and plotted soft kisses along his jawline and he shuddered but then pushed me closer to him by pushing the hand on my waist closer and my heart beat got faster along with his and his eyes filled with lust and love.
