Demi PoV

When we walked into my house Lauras eyes big. "Your house is so big", she whispered.  I smiled. "Come on I'll show you your room. "I lead her to her room. "Put your clothes into your closet. We'll go shopping tomorrow or so. I'll get you some clothes." "Wow thank you", Laura said. I hugged her and left the room. U went into the kitchen. Suddenly I heard a soft voice singing. "Skies are crying, I am watching, catching teardrops in my hands. Only silence as it's ending like we never had a chance.Do you have to make me feel like there's nothing left of me?

Before I even knew it I stood in front of Lauras room. Was that her singing? It must have been hee. At the corus her little voice was shaking. At the end her voice broke. I went into her room, finding her on zhe floor, crying. I sat next to her. "You have an amazing voice honey. Do you know that?" "My voice is terrible. Don't lie and tell me it is good.", she said and tried to get away from me. I caught her and hugged her really tight. "What's up sweety?", I whispered in her ear. "No-nothing", she replied.  "Come on tell me what is up. Please" "It's everything. I can't take it Demi. I can't take it anymore. Mary killed herself. Now I'm alone. I have no one. NO ONE. You understand?! I'm ALONE." The last words she screamed. "Hey babygirl, listen to me! you're not alone. You have me. I won't leave you. Never. Ok? I'll always be there for you." "No Demi. Don't say that. You don't even know me. If you did you wouldn't have gotten me out of this fucking orphanage. When you get to know me you'll take me back there." Wow. that hurt. "No. I won't take you back. I'll never ever take you back there. I promise. You are my daughter now. MINE.

Laura PoV

Demi called me hers. When she did my heart skipped a beat. Demi called me her daughter. I am Demi Lovatos daughter. Ok I should stop fangirling. I guess she is something like my... mom... now. Kinda creepy. The star I adored most is my mom now. My room here is so big and I got my own closet. I am living my dream... I guess I zoned out because I got ripped out of my thoughts by Demi shouting:"Laura come down. Dinner is ready." "Coming", I yelled back. Blah food. I knew this would come. But not soo fast. I went to the kitchen. Even by smelling the food I wanted to throw up. "I'm not hungry.", I told Demi. "You need to eat. You haven't eaten anything since I got you from the orphanage this morning" "I told you I'm not hungry." "You eat.", she said. I knew I had to. I sat down and started to poke in my food.

Demi PoV

She sat there poking in her food. I could tell she was uncomfortable. "You really don't want to eat, right?" "Yes", she said. "Why don't you want to eat?" "Because.... I'm not hungry." "Come on girl I know you're lying. I can see it on your eyes. tell me the truth." She  started crying. I took her hands in mine."What's up sweety?" I.. I dont deserve food. I'm fat enough. I can't eat. Sorry." Oh no.. Please god.. Tell me she doesn't have an eating disorder.. "It's ok sweety. You don't have to eat for today. Let's go to the living room. I want to talk with you." We went to the living room and sat down on thr couch. I took Lauras hand. She leaned on my shoulder.I started talking. "Honey? you aren't fat. You are perfect just the way you are. Trust me. I love you the way you are and you need to eat ok?" "But.. I don't want to Demi.." She looked down and played with her sleeves. On a sudden impulse I took her left arm and rolled her sleeves up. Laura was shocked. She tried to keep my hands away. But it was too late. And what I saw made me cry..

Sorry I know it took me forever to update. But my wattpad has been acting strange and I can't go anywhere else than my library. It sucks-.-
