I won't leave you.

Laura PoV

I told Demi to get Naya.

After what felt like forever she came in.

"Hey sweetie. What's up? Why do ya wanna talk to me?"

"You really love Demi don't you?"

"Yes I do. I really do. Your mother is my universe. She's the only girl I see. She is the love of my life."

"Tell her. She feels the same. Ask her out again. Get her a cute present. I know she loves you. You can ask Mar for a cute thing you could buy her. They've been friends for so long now. She definitely can tell you some things."

"Kid? why do you know all these things?  I mean Demi told me you don't know Marissa."

"Lovatic, you know.", I said for the second time today and started giggling.

"Stop giggling. I didn't know that. But when you are a Lovatic it must be pretty cool to be Demis daughter now. "

"Yeah.. Well.. I think so..", I said. But Naya saw that something was wrong.

"What's the problem?"

"Well.. She just got me for the press. She doesn't love me. I'm horrible. No one loves me. Demi is too good for me."

After I said that Naya stormed out of the room.

Naya PoV

"Demi is too good for me"

After she said that I felt tears built up in my eyes. I had to leave the room. I had to talk to Demi.

I ran out of the room. Everyone was starting at me but I didn't care. I wanted to hug Demi. She came to me and hugged me tight.

"What happened in there, honey?", she said with her sweet, soft voice.

"It's Laura. She thinks she isn't good enough for you. She thinks you got her just for publicity. She thinks she's horrible. What she said was so full of hatred against herself. It made me cry. I had to leave the room. I didn't want her to see me cry."

"Oh sweety.. Maybe I should go talk to her. Have you two talked about anything else?"

"Yeah. But nothing important.", I said slowly, but Demi got that I was lying.

"Tell me what you talked about.", she said with a cute and innocent smile.

"Nothing important. As I said. Let's talk about it later."

With that we went to Lauras room. She was on her bed, sobbing. I sat down next to her.

"Hey sweetie. Everything's gonna be alright. Demi's here. I'm here. You are safe with us."

"After I said this she came and snuggled into me. I stroked her hair.

"Demi? Can you go check when we can take our little one home?"

"Sure. I'll be back in a minute."

Demi PoV

Oh my gosh. Naya just called Laura our little one. OUR.. Maybe there is a we. Maybe we can really get together. But no. That's not the point right now. I need to find a doctor and ask when we can take Laura home. I saw a nurse.

"Sorry madame. when can I take my daughter, Laura Lovato, home?"

"I'll get a doc to come to your room so he can check her. He'll tell you when you can leave."

I went back into the room.

"We can leave soon I guess."

The doc came and we were allowed to leave.

We went home and Laura went straight to bed. Naya and I sat on the couch.

"Hard day.", I sighed.

"Yup. I'm just glad nothing happened to Laura. She is too young to be so broken. She's only 13."

"Yeah I know. But I'll do everything I can to fix her.

"But please take care of yourself too Demi. I don't want to lose you. I wasn't there for you at your lowest. I wanna be there from now on."

With that she bend down and kissed me. Fireworks were exploding in my stomach. I had a feeling I never had before. It was amazing. After Naya took her lips off mine I was breathless.

"Oh my gosh Naya."

"Yeah I know"

We both were speechless. But we haven't had to say something. We knew what the other was thinking. I wanted her. And I wanted her bad. I wanted to kiss her. To love her. With my whole body. I kissed Naya again. Butterflies were flying all around my body. We started to undress each other. I felt more alive than ever. It was amazing. I felt Nayas body on mine.

Then I heard a scream.

Naya PoV

Demi was on top of me, nacked,when I heard a scream. I got up and put my clothes back on. Demi did the same.

"It's ok babe. I'll go." I told her.

"Ok. But tell me if you need me. Just scream and I'll be there."

I went upstairs and walked into Lauras room. She sat on her bed, rocking back and forth.

"Hey babygirl what's up?"

"Nothing. It's ok. Just a nightmare. I'm ok Naya you can go."

"No. you're not ok. You're here rocking, sobbing and shaking. Tell me about it."

I climbed into the bed with her and let her curl up on my lap.

"I don't want to talk about it."

"Maybe talking about it helps. Please baby. You can trust me."

"But you'll hate me. Or at least think I'm crazy."

"No. I won't. I promise. You trust me don't you? so come on tell me."

"Yes I trust you. And ok. I'll tell you. Just promise you won't tell Demi. Please."

"Ok. I won't. I promise."

I took her hand and rubbed circles with my thumb.

"I was here. Then I woke up. I got up and looked for Demi. I looked through the whole house. Then I found a letter.I guess it said something like 'Laura. Don't wait for me. I won't come back. My time has come. When you find me it'll be too late. Don't be sad about it. Forge me. Maybe my mom will take care of you. If not you'll go back into the orphanage. You'll be alright. I couldn't take this and you anymore. Lots of love. Demi.'

I ran out of the house. I didn't know what to do so i ran to the bridge. There I saw Demi. She jumped. I ran, trying to hold her. But I failed. Demi killed herself. Because of me."

She started sobbing very hard and began to breath too fast.

"Hey baby. Copy my breathing. Good girl. And Demi won't leave you. I won't leave you. Everything is going to be alright. Now try to sleep again."

I kissed her forehead and got up. She started crying again.

"No Naya. Please don't leave me."

"Ok. I'll sleep with you tonight. Just let me get changed."

I went down to Demi.

"She had a nightmare. I'll sleep with her tonight. Sorry babe. and maybe we should get one big bed. I don't think she can sleep alone."

"Yeah that's a good idea. we'll go shopping tomorrow. I want to get her some clothes too. Wanna come with us babe?"

"Sure. But now I should go back to Laura."

I got changed and went back to Laura. I laid down next to ber and she snuggled up to me and closed her eyes.

"Don't worry. I won't leave you.",I whispered before falling alseep myself.
