I wake up to someone tapping me. I look over and see the flight attendant smiling at me.
"Miss, we've landed. You need to get off the plane now."
I could feel my cheeks get red, how embarrassing. "Of course, sorry."
I stand up and walk out of the plane. I'm completely exhausted. After all of the exhausting events, it definitely takes a hit on you. I pull out my cell phone as I'm walking out. I text Wesley, "Just now got off the plane.. I feel like the walking dead. So exhausted. :p"
He replies quickly:
"Glad you're safe! Have you found the Smiths yet?"
"I just got off. I'm looking around."
"I'm not letting you go until you find them. If they deserted you, then they'd have to deal with a very angry brother."
"How? Skype? :p"
"No. I'd drive there."
"But, Wesley. That's a long drive."
"I don't care! Nothing would stop me from reaching my baby sister."
I smile at his text, "You're the best!"
I look up to see a family of 6. They are holding up a sign that says, "Riley Grace." I take a deep breath, and text Wesley back.
"Found them. Gotta head. Love ya :)"
"Love ya too! Remember. Every hour. :p"
"Haha, you bet! :p"
I put my phone away as I walk over to the Smiths. The lady looks to be about 45. She smiles at me as I approach, "Hi, are you Riley Grace?"
I smile, "The one and only."
The lady pulls me into a hug. Not what I was expecting at all. "Ohhh, I'm so sorry for everything!!"
She pulls back from our embrace, "I'm Mary, this is my husband, John."
John gives me a nod and smiles, "Hey!"
"These are my sons, Tanner, Mason, Sawyer, and Miles." says Mary, excitedly.
All four of the guys nodded and said their hellos, I smile at them, then turn my attention towards Mary.
"Come on dear, let's leave."
I nod and follow them out the door to my new life for 3 weeks.
