A new term meant new classes, and new classes meant a switch of the people I was with before. Luckily I had Jack in my first period, but unfortunately I also had Kellin, Tony, and Zack in that classroom as well. I also didn't have any classes with Alex, but my final period I had with Mike, thankfully. Other than that, I had no one else I knew in my classes.
"Why didn't we ditch?" Jack muttered into his arm. He was laying his face down on his desk, hidden by his arms that were crosses around him.
"Because you need to pass and because we can't ditch the first day of class, especially when Jaime hasn't had this class yet," I scolded.
"Yeah, but he has it next period," Jack informed me.
I shrugged my shoulders. "We just need to stay for this every so often because we don't really have any where else to go in winter."
"The staircase," he pointed out.
"That's boring," I murmured.
"More boring than class?"
"Mr. Barakat, would you please focus in class?" the teacher asked from the head of the class. I smirked and looked over at Jack who raised his head.
"Why of course," he said, clearly sarcastic but the teacher didn't seem to notice as she returned to her lecture.
"Easy there, don't want to get kicked out, do you?" I asked, my smile growing and he just rolled his eyes.
"I wouldn't have to worry about it if we didn't have to be here."
There was a knock on the door and the teacher stopped talking as she went to open it. The class, who seemed half asleep in their first class of the day, turned their attention to the newcomer as well. To my surprise, standing there was Alex.
I nudged Jack, whom was dozing off, and nodded towards the door which made him sit up now.
Alex murmured something and handed a piece of paper over to the teacher and the teacher nodded her head, accepting the form and opening the door wider allowing Alex to pass through.
"Please, come in and take a seat," she spoke and Alex made a bee line to the back, sitting on the other side of me.
I looked over at him, as did Jack, leaning forward so we could both see him. Alex stayed quiet until the teacher resumed her lecture. "You guys miss me?" he asked, flashing us a smile.
"Oh, bother," Jack groaned, laying his head back down on his desk.
"You changed your schedule?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows.
"Yeah, there's no way I could leave you on your own with Jack with three douchebags in here," he said with a shrug. I smirked, knowing he was referring to the Clique members.
"I can handle myself," Jack muttered, refusing to lift his head back up from the desk to say.
"I know you can, and I know Stella can, too. It's just with more of an even ratio between them and us will hopefully stop them from causing anything."
I nodded my head but Jack continued to stay quiet as he hid his face against the desk. It didn't look comfortable, but I decided not to say anything about it. I turned back to Alex. "Do you think they would've tried anything?"
He shrugged his shoulders. "No idea. I just didn't really trust Jack to not try anything," he admitted.
I smirked at that.

"So, we meeting at Stella's tonight?" Jaime asked as he walked towards the group, meeting Jack and I at my locker. Jaime halted in front of me, yet I still wasn't sure where Alex had gone off to.
I shrugged my shoulders. "If you guys want, I don't care."
"Sounds like a plan," Jack said absently, gazing down at his phone.
"Hey guys, I welcome our two newest initiates into the Trouble-Makers," Mike said, walking over to us. "Jenna," he gestured to the blond beside him, "and Dave." He now gestured to the other boy beside him, his hair pushed up and he had a slight shadow of a beard on his face.
I shined a smile now at both of the new comers. "Hey, guys, glad you wanted to join. I'm Stella."
"Trust me, we know who you are," Jenna said with a chuckle. I furrowed my eyebrows and looked at Mike. "All you guys, actually," she quickly went on. "I mean, you guys are all kind of a legend in the school for standing up to the Clique."
I felt the corners of my mouth slightly point up.
"What about Josh?" Jaime asked, not bothering to welcome the new ones in. Some of the Trouble-Makers were always reluctant to welcome newcomers.
"He said he didn't want in," Mike said with a frown.
"Some people can't handle us," Jack said, causing Jaime to snicker. He slapped a hand on Dave's shoulder. "So, Dave, you're my toy for the rest of the year...or until you decided to become a Trouble-Maker."
Dave shifted uncomfortably for a moment at the upper class-men, but forced a brave face. I couldn't blame him, if it was my first time meeting Jack I would probably be freaked out as well.
"Don't worry, I'll teach you the ropes," he said with a wink, letting his hand fall and turning to Mike. "Which is more than I can say for Mike and Jenna. I'm sorry if Mike scares you away from the Trouble-Makers."
Jenna chuckled at that. "I think I can handle myself with that."
"I think we should be saying that to you, Jack," I said now. "You better not teach Dave any bad things."
Jack scoffed. "Do you doubt me?"
"Kind of," I admitted.
"I see we have visitors," Alex suddenly said beside me, reaching down and holding my hand as he smiled towards the new initiates.
Mike nodded proudly. "But, unfortunately, Josh decided to not join..."
Alex shrugged. "That's not a problem, the Trouble-Makers isn't for everyone."
I couldn't help but smile at Alex's optimistic attitude.
"What's the plan for tonight?" he asked, looking down towards me.
"I guess we're all coming to my place, and I'm sure so are the new members," I explained, looking over at Mike and Jack who nodded with my plans.
Jaime pouted slightly, still not okay with the new members. I suppose he was still gun shy with new people ever since Zack.
"Where's Rian?" Jack asked.
"Dude, he got pulled after class in History," Alex said now, letting out a small snicker. I gently pushed him, trying to contain my own giggle.
"Geez, how long is that going to take?" Jaime muttered.
"I can actually go check up on him," I suggested.
Alex frowned. "I can just go do it."
"No, no, I need to go check if the Art room is closed anyways," I explained. The Trouble-Makers gave me more confused looks and I let out a sigh. "I need to go get more supplies."
Jack nodded his head, turning around and walking towards the exit. "We'll meet you at the place," he called back as Jaime went after him.
Dave shot Mike a questioning glance and he motioned towards Jack, telling him to chase after him. Dave quickly scrambled after the two.
"Poor dude, he has a lot going against him with Jack," I murmured, causing Alex to chuckle lightly.
"Dave will be fine," Alex said, giving my hand a squeeze. He turned to Mike and Jenna now. "Am I giving you guys a ride?" he asked.
Jenna turned to Mike and Mike nodded his head towards Alex. "Yeah, since my other ride kind of just strided away."
Alex chuckled at that and he kissed the top of my head. "We'll be waiting in the parking lot for you," he said, walking off with the two.
